It's interesting, but Boris Pasternak observed the same thing about communists in his masterpiece Doctor Zhivago. What he said about the Reds in Russia can be said about the Greens in ISIS and Boko Haram:

Given that communists and jihadists are both nihilists, this similarity between the two should come as no surprise...

Our history is irrelevant. We evolved. Islam has not. If in 2015 people are being slaughtered by the thousands because they are "non-believers", then we've got a serious problem.

Let me ask you this. What does our history have to do with contemporary problems with islamic terrorism? It's 100% irrelevant what we did back then, because the issue stems from abroad.

And the US is supposed to do what?
Are you willing to risk your life for these savages?
Or send your son to die for them?
The US is not Nanny to the world. Let them duke it out. It is none of our business.

Let's examine Iran; specifically Iran in 1953. If you believe that no event in America's past has consequences today then a cursory glance at your CIA's activities in overthrowing a democratically elected government there might give you a hint as to why people fly aeroplanes into your tall buildings. The west has a great deal to answer for.
Isaac Newton proposed that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The CIA has one word for it; blowback.

The lack of supporting the French protest against Isis and the Islamic terrorist is a shame on the reputation of the US and specifically Obama.

I get your point and it's a good one, but it's different than radical extremism today. This is more about Western "occupation" in the middle east. It's less about god as it is actual brainwashing.

But don't you see that the imposition of the Shah upon Iran, along with his CIA-trained secret police thugs, led directly to the Islamic Revolution and the extremism we see today. It's almost as if it were all part of a long-term strategy to destabilise the region...

Snake, islamic extremism against the West has been around WAY longer than that. The British have first-hand experience in that. In 1921. British Muslims in the middle east were exterminated because they were too "western". The Moplah rebellion is another example as well.

Muslim extremists existed long before any CIA operation. The evolution of their extremism never stopped.

Yes, because of our imperialist ambitions. We arbitrarily drew lines on a map dividing the Middle East into countries easier to manage. That brought conflict.
