An interesting – and truly frightening – read. One must take the time to read the entire article @ http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2015/02/what-isis-really-wants/384980/ as well as the source blog @ http://www.bookwormroom.com/2015/02...sis-read-graeme-woods-what-isis-really-wants/

Nearly all the Islamic State’s decisions adhere to what it calls, on its billboards, license plates, and coins, “the Prophetic methodology.”

Obama and his minions continue to deny this and the question is: Why? It's clear this is yet another cult/sect that believes we are facing The End of Days and is doing itsd best to remove all nonbelievers from this earth.

We must not and cannot ignore their threat!!!

    from the article

"Muslims can reject the Islamic State; nearly all do. "

no one denies ISIS is not a fanatical Muslim religious group, just that most Muslims are not like them

Jacobin is proud to feature an interview with journalist David Barsamian and Professor Noam Chomsky.

In it, Chomsky explains the roots of ISIS and why the United States and its allies are responsible for the group’s emergence.

    The World of Our Grandchildren

This is one of the conspiracy theories, the thousands of them that go around the Middle East.

But this is another source: this is right at the heart of the US establishment. He hastens to point out that he doesn’t mean the US decided to put ISIS into existence and then funded it. His point is — and I think it’s accurate — that the US created the background out of which ISIS grew and developed. Part of it was just the standard sledgehammer approach: smash up what you don’t like...

I read that article today and was much impressed. Unfortunately, there is very little that I find to read that I feel has actually benefited my understanding of a subject, but this article I think, has really broadened my mind on ISIS in particular and Islam in general. It's extremely enlightening.
