Guess they didn't get Obama's sermon....or more likely they saw through the bullllll(*)(*)(*)(*)ttte. http://www.debka.com/article/24431/Egypt-goes-to-war-on-ISIS-masses-troops-against-Islamist-Libyan-stronghold-at-Darnah
I think Obama is doing exactly what he should with ISIS. NOTHING. It's a Mid East problem and the Mideast should FINALLY begin to take care of their own affairs. (*)(*)(*)(*) them, anyone stupid enough to go to those hellholes for any reason is receiving a Darwin award if ISIS beheads them If I had my way we'd buy all our oil from them at a distance. We don't need to send people there to do that. Travel to the Middle East for Americans should be a criminal offense, that way companies couldn't make their employees go for god knows what reason.
Pretty much consistently since 2000.. I used to wonder if they were Israeli teens operating out of someone's basement.. Problem is they are far too prejudice to actually report the facts and given to reading Press TV.
They got tired of washingtons whiny azz bs. February 10, 2015 1:10 PM CAIRO— Russia and Egypt signed several agreements to reinforce military and economic ties, along with a deal to help Cairo develop nuclear power capabilities. The agreements capped a two-day visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The audience applauds Putin and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi as they agree to strengthen mutual ties in the face of a growing terrorist threat and outside economic pressures. At a news conference Tuesday, the two leaders also announced a nuclear deal to help Egypt develop its power capabilities. Putin said both sides had agreed to intensify cooperation in various areas, including Russian investments in Egypt, tourism, and cooperation in the battle against terrorism.
Why not read DEBKA for yourself.. and decide for yourself over time what they are about? - - - Updated - - - You do know that spring in the Middle East begins in March... LOLOL Saudi Arabia has HUGE investments in Egypt and gave them 4 billion several months ago to tide them over.
You do know Russia gave Egypt MIG's right. http://nsnbc.me/2015/02/20/russia-r...g-35s-and-defense-cooperation-on-the-agenda/

Egypt has established close relations with Russia, and Russia was the first and only nation to help out Iraq when ISIS appeared on the scene. Unlike the US, Russia has also concerned itself with the plight of the Christians in the Middle East, so the killings of the Copts would have been upsetting in quite a few ways.
I agree that "do nothing" is the present way to go,... meaning that we support Kurds in holding their territory, plus bombs are fine if the reasons make sense. We need let Iran fight these guys, and use Shiites in Iraq to oppose them. But do not forget that some powers. like Iran, China, and even Russia are interested in control of the prices for Oil by using the power of controls over the supplies. We must pay attention to the politics in the ME, or we could have a monoploy on the oil which allows the prices to go through the roof.
Last time he was there was to give condolences to the Prince over a month ago. I have no idea what you are trying to say. http://www.dailynewsegypt.com/2015/...fers-condolences-prince-salman-bin-abdulaziz/
Here's a few things that should be of interest. The waters south of Crete contain deposits of oil/gas, and Greece and Egypt have signed territorial delineation lines so they can start exploration. Egypt, and Cyprus have defense agreements, as well as Greece and Cyprus, and the territorial waters of the three of them cover and control just about all the waters in the oil and gas rich Eastern Mediterranean. This of course concerns the US, since Egypt as well as Cyprus have a good relationship with Russia. More than likely Greece will do so in the future with its new government, so it's doubtful Washington will sit idly by. It will do what Washington always does, and that is to create chaos in order to offset any gain by Russia. Since the challenge to the territorial claims of Greece and Cyprus comes from Turkey, and since Turkey is aligned with ISIS, then Egypt has a good reason to be concerned about them.
They are meeting to discuss ISIS, the problems in Yemen and increased trade relations.. Thousands and thousands of Egyptians live and work in KSA. - - - Updated - - - They are meeting to discuss ISIS, the problems in Yemen and increased trade relations.. I guess they ran this all by you first since it is top secret and there is absolutely nothing about it when performing a ME news search.
Awwwww so that was the big rush for Cyprus to get Russian Navy ships in their waters 2 days ago. All making sense now. https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?p=Cyprus+Russia+Navy&ei=UTF-8&hspart=mozilla&hsimp=yhs-002
Jeannette, Israel claims all the oil and gas reserves in the Eastern Med.. Look at a map. Turkey doesn't support ISIS. Further, oil and gas are no longer scarce ......... Just not that important.

What a surprising turn of events. Leave it to Sisi, Egypt's President with a military background, to clean up the mess we (USA) left after the Arab Spring.
