Every time a conservative says something like that I can't help but think most conservatives are a panic in search is a disaster. They must love being scared because they're frightened of everything!

Fear and cowardice is the only thing they are good at.

Of course it will because they've classified broadband as twice what you have today as broadband. The reality is that you've been getting shafted by your provider and just don't know it. You'd get better service, cheaper in Latvia than you would in the US.

I'm sorry, was that an attempt at rebutting net neutrality? You're going to have to be more persuasive.

Yeah, I can see your point. I was a bit hasty in my desire to provoke conservatives.

we already saw the problems starting with Comcast and Netflix... if there are no more issues, the FCC wont have much to do on this one and then is it even worth your time fighting net nutrality which you think everyone will do anyways?

they had always done it that way (voluntarily), but companies like Comcast were starting to change the way it's always been done

If they indeed regulate the internet in the same "regulatory framework" they do electricity they're going to pay by how much data they transfer, NOT the flat monthly fee they are paying right now. Currently someone who takes say FIOS whole bundle, uses the internet modestly is paying for TV separately from the internet is financing the bandwidth used by streaming content and game users. Once they start using the same "regulatory framework" they do electricity each individual customer will pay for the bandwidth they actually use. If they like on line gaming or using Netflix for TV they better break out their VISA cards to pay the bill. They just don't get while net neutrality may have everyone paying the same for the same speed, they WILL end up paying for each and every KB they use. It will be a Bonanza for the telecoms. Then they'll be screaming for subsidies for the poor.
