Witnesses claim the homeless man was unarmed and had no gun even as the policeman who shot him, 5 or 6 times shouted to drop the gun.

Once again the cowboy outfit, sorry L.A. rabble saw fit to murder yet another civilian who dared to argue. These moron policemen are a disgrace to their uniform and are a gun crazy mob who need throwing in jail for massive abuse of powers.
L.A. once again in the forefront of ruthless police brutality. It should be called L.D. (diablo).
Anyway, who employs these nutters as policemen in the first place ? Someone needs to be held to account for this mafia style policing.

 

What is happening to our country?

There is going to be wide spread violence in the streets all across the nation if the police continue to shoot first and ask questions later.

 

Sadly I don't think this is anything new, we just finally all have cameras to point this nonsense out.

If there is one silver lining, Jesus that sounds horrible to say, I am hoping the fact that the shooter was black will take this in the "right "direction.

Too many of these are blamed on race. Whether is is racial or not, the argument turns from police behavior to racial tensions. Then the entire thing is politicized and eventually forgotten.

Hopefully this poor mans death leads to something, ANYTHING, useful.

Do you mean repeatedly shoot or are you saying the guy was already dead when first shot?

 

LAPD says the man was reaching for the cop's gun.

Never try to disarm a cop, it's a dumb thing to do.

 

It's hard to determine if it was the police fault or not. The video isnt giving us a clue or any piece of information that will lead us to blame the police nor the dead homeless.

 

I don't get it if they shot a dead homeless guy then what harm was done.

Most ppl do not have a clue to how a shooting or use of a firearm works. Five shots shows great restraint. NO, I am not a cop groupy, but a officer, can pull off two or three shots in one second. Do the math. Five cops shot and only five bullets make the mark. It should or could have been 15 easy.

That's a silly thing to ask if you actually viewed the video of the LAPD shooting of the street guy.

The deceased was fighting the Cops and took one officer's gun.

When three Officers, one of them a Sergeant, all fire at a perp at the same time, it is because they all saw an action which warranted the use of deadly force.

Even IF they were all in collusion and trying to shoot him for no good reason they would have had to have been given a signal in order for the gunshots to have been so coordinated to the fraction of a second.

They were all prompted to shoot by the perp's actions, which they all saw at the same time.

Period.

Hate to say it, but the attitude of many in the police forces is that homeless vagrants have no right to exist in their town. My grandfather was a police officer at one point in his life, and told me they used to pick up the homeless and drop them off at the edge of town, giving them the hint that they weren't welcome. I could barely believe this when I heard it. I'm not sure if they are still doing this now, but that's definitely the type of attitude some police seem to have.

There seems to be this mentality held by many people out there that the only rights are property rights, and if you don't own any property, you're out of luck.

 

One thing that occurs to me is that cops seem to need a little more time off between the streets of Ramadi and the streets of LA.

 

Guys why there are so much homeless person in USA ? I remember some numbers and it was quite high. Is not USA one of the World's most developed countries ? Something wrong goes there, let me guess, ermmmmmmm yes I find it, Capitalism ? No No Imperialism ?

 

Homeless people had the same opportunities as everyone else. They chose poorly. Sucks to be them. Life in America is what one makes of it. Freedom doesn't fix stupid.

Some people are just down on their luck in a society that believes in good luck but not in bad. Others are, literally, insane but the hospitals can't keep them indefinitely. Others are somewhere between being sane and insane (this includes a lot of vets), need people to take care of them but can't find any, and do not want to be institutionalized. Others never came back from a bad LSD trip. All in all, it's a pretty sad indictment of our way of doing things.
