Israel has never made any attempt at all to capture Lebanon and intervene in that country under extreme duress, For instance in support of Lebanese Christians during the civil war.which was provoked by the Hezzies and Syria. The Iranians are vindictive enough to scuttle this before the 2016 elections is my guess, even though the smart thing to do would be to pretend otherwise.

Worst case scenario: Iran is one year away from nuclear weapons.

Iran has enough Weapons Grade Uranium to make one or two bombs.
