You were talking about tolerance. What are you suggesting here ? That Non Muslims should be given freedoms and treated more humanely than Muslims. That control freaks only be allowed to exert control over Muslims ?

Some people have such an expectation but they are not forced to assimilate by law like in Muslim countries. Also, your claim that Non Muslims are not forced to obey the Muslim rules in Muslim countries is false.

You can not promote Christianity to Muslims in most Muslim Countries without fear of persecution. You can promote Islam to Christians in the west.

The West is far more tolerant than the Middle east.

BS!! Go ahead and move to the middle east and conduct yourself as a Christian. If you're a woman, see how far you get walking around a country like Saudi Arabia dressed as a westerner. I say "walking" because you won't be allowed to drive. In short order you will find that they will in fact force you to conform to their way of life or you will be punished severely for it.

Getting the rest of the world to adopt Islam by either choice or by force is a bedrock principle of the Islamic faith.

And yes, anyone that wants to immigrate to America and become an American should be forced to assimilate or they are free to go back home. Multi-culturalism doesn't work. It is a proven failure and we are the only nation on the planet dumb enough to insist that it does work. What it leads to is chaos and violence as each cultural group struggles to impose their way of life on the rest.

Everything in bold is closer to a fact than a personal opinion

The republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was a de-facto state by 1992. The only contribution NATO made, and not the US , who wasn't even close to being the largest contributor to the intervention, was the bombing of factories, farms, and cities which had kept the civilian population well fed and working. Why do you think US approval is the worst in the Balkan peninsula over anywhere else in the world? When every country you attempt to "help" ends up hating you, it is time to admit you suck at helping people.

Is Saudi Arabia all you got? Anyway, that's only because Saudia Arabia care a lot about morals.

    ?
Multiculturism works in Islam. It can’t in the West.

What I meant by my assertion was that unlike in the West, you can be whoever you want to be, and go by your own rulebook (for the most part). Now that's tolerance.

Forced to assimilate? No one forces non-Muslims to become Muslim. No one cares (except the KSA) if a Western woman is wearing jeans. No one cares what language you speak. You aren't expected to change anything about yourself. All you have to do is follow some rules, and the rules are peanuts compared to America. The government over there has you guys by the...well, you know.

Of course, because the state itself is based on Islam. The West isn't even Christian.

    Nah.

They'll be pushing for halal food in their next petition, then changes in the theology dept's curriculum, then outright Sharia Law.

LMAO Oh yes, the approval rating of the US among Bosnians is low to be sure. Naturally since we stopped them from conducting their little genocidal ethnic cleansing. Among the Croats, however, the US approval rating is quite good.

Now you can post whatever communist talking points you want to about economic output and how America is the big bad guy in the world. As usual with communist talking points not a word of it is true.

I will repeat, the US did not do a thing to stop any genocide in Eastern Europe. The only time the US intervened was under the NATO resolution in Bosnia a year after the genocide ended in 1944, and it resulted in the deaths of thousands from the damage the bombing campaigns caused. Fighting countrymen wanted to free their own country, and their will was enough to accomplish the feat alone, without US assistance. I bet you any people who want something more than their enemy will eventually get it, so that should be America's que to stop intervening in other nations internal politics.

I am not sure this is an argument worth continuing. You are intent on repeating that the US is faultless and is responsible for all stability and good in the world. I am also not of communist ideology, so why you would call me that is beyond me. Are you just trying to destroy my credibility?

Members of terrorist front cells like the two 'student organizations' should be quarantined and deported.

    From the OP article:

Nonsense, and coming from a violent racist collection of terrorist supporters laughable.

That's because most don't have any humanity to lend, so they're just saying the film is an accurate portrayal of Islamists. Nothing to see here.

    We can certainly hope so.

The University of Michigan is failing its primary mission, educating students as to the reality of Islamic violence and barbarism by banning this movie, especially because of a couple of terrorist front cells sniveling about it and lying about Kyle. The University is deliberately condoning censorship and Islamic terrorism by censoring the movie, and seriously endangering the lives of students by allowing terrorist front cells to openly operate and recruit on their campus.

The claim of every communist is that they are not communist. Even as they steadily oppress the masses, impose tyranny and enact communist ideas the communist will still claim not to be a communist.

What made you think that I am a communist? The only thing we have even discussed is how US interventions for the most part have had negative impacts on the world. Does that now qualify me and the billion others like me as communists?

Who is to say I am not? Wouldn't a smarter man than me have to make that accusation, and in that case would you not be using the same routine? I am not bragging about myself or my country. Besides taking time to insult me, you have spent the majority of your time bragging about the US and your own patriotic self. Can we cut off that routine? They are all unsubstantiated opinions you repeat over and over. I am making an attempt at being intellectual, and given how you took notice, I would say it is working.

The constitutions of the UK, France, Uruguay, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Taiwan, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Jamaica, Bahamas, Estonia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Malta all grant more liberties to their citizens than the United States.

I really do not think America has a problem with liberty, and I never made that accusation. America does have a problem with imperialism and a growing culture of conceited superiority. You are a good example of that. You first claimed that the US brought civilization to the rest of the world and we should continue supporting US hegemony (promotion of imperialism), and you made the second claim that every nation should adopt the US constitution because it is ultimately superior to the other 195 recognized entities in the world (insufferable bragging) . Point in case.

If you would like to ignore my one question again, please do not bother responding. If you actually want to have a productive discussion, then please answer this question so I wont have to ask it three more times.
Outside of the the Korean War and Gulf War, how many US interventions can be attributed to protecting a country from tyranny and absolute anarchy? Earlier you claimed that every country on earth should hold the US responsible for their existence. Were you being sincere?

LOL Lets go back and revisit your opening post on this thread shall we?

You know if you and mayerling don't want to get insulted than I would suggest you don't say insulting things to other people first. That would probably be a big help. And gosh I wonder why I went on to espouse my love of country given that I'm in a conversation with a person who seems only to want to insult my country?

Yes, well I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm at the local gun range exercising my Second Amendment rights. Something that people in those other "free" countries either don't have or are so restricted as to be almost non-existent.

It would be helpful if you read what I said instead of just what you want to hear.

Here is what I actually said.

Yes of course. Curse that western civilization for bringing, well, civilization to the world. Countries that beforehand didn't have things like roads, schools, electricity, running water, an infrastructure that could sustain a civilized nation. These are things that western civilization brought to the world, not only America but the European powers as well.

Western civilization by the way actually includes Europe genius. South Africa for instance, an English colony.

Current day Somalia? Once a British and Italian colony.
Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Libya, all once French colonies.

Please try to control your hatred of so called American Imperialism long enough to actually know what Western Civ really is.

For the record if the US was in fact conducting "American Imperialism" in Iraq I would say it didn't work out given the current status of Iraq wouldn't you agree. Or could it be that America let them determine their own future course as a country and things have been rough going? Yes option number two I think.

Now with respect to your silly question since you can't seem to do your own history research.

    Lets see.

How many innocent women have had their brains blown out in soccer stadiums by the Taliban since America went there and ended their reign of terror in that country?
Who else was going to put an end to the evil and oppressive tyranny that was the Taliban? Yugoslavia maybe?

Insult all you wish, but being rude is so uncivilised.

Greece is considered by most to be the mother of western civilisation and Arabs are the ones who perpetuated those ideas.

Once again, if you don't want people to insult you than don't say insulting things to begin with.

America is not imperialist. If you think that it is, than you have no idea what imperialism actually is. It is in insult to me when you accuse my country of being imperialist when I know for an undeniable fact that it is not. It is rude and uncivilized to say that America is imperialist and yes civilized is spelled with a "z" not an "s". If you're going to get on this forum and try to pass yourself off as some sort of highly educated intellectual with a keen grasp on the subjects at hand it would help your case a lot if you knew how to spell common words.

IDGAF if Russia takes over Eastern Europe
IDGAF if the Middle East is controlled by fundamentalist Islam
IDGAF if China surpasses the United State's GDP

I think that pretty well covers it. If someone doesn't want people to think they are communist maybe they shouldn't openly wish for Russia to take over eastern Europe. This is in fact the same Scholar who stated that he doesn't like Russian imperialism but his own signature indicates just the opposite.

I note that you have corrected more than a few people on their grammar and/or their spelling.

Civilised aka civilized in the USA is the way the British spell it. This IPAD self corrects to the British spelling.
This forum is open to all nationalities who may spell words in either the US version or the UK version.
Frankly I doubt that many except the insecure either in a forum such as this or in social company would ever correct some one else's pronunciation, misuse of words or spelling or error in grammar.
It is the height of rudeness .
