pretty much all of my friends. My best buddy makes weekend trip to valencia right now. Another friend goes each year south africa. Others go canada, australia, new zealand. Its nothing special. You dont do this?
well, i have to take your word on that, although let others testify here. no, i don't do it; would have to save money if i did; i am more into Hi-Fi audio gear, among other things.
1. US does more sattelites. Russia does more launches. US and EU are advanced in the technology and sattelites making as a separate market belongs mostly to them. Speaking of launching market it is after Russia so far. Mexican sattelite which crashed is a perfect example for my words. It was made by EU and launched by Russia. 2. Orbital station is not a breakthrough. The sharp end of science is after the western countries and their telescopes and space ships reaching planets and leaving solar system... It is not a market, but it still is a laboratory for humanity, because space has the conditions which you don't get inside the atmosphere of Earth. 3. Nothing is eternal. Everything dies and changes. ("Transforms" if you are afraid of death) The leadeship of US in this is undoubtful and whatever happens the US will be remembered for this for thousands years after.
I try and tell the religious zealots that everything dies; but they are absolutely convinced it's not fade-to-black. To your point - they are afraid of death to the point where they cannot come to grips with it. I'm not looking forward to it; but it's an inevitability so I accept it.
New Zeland in 2012 was best country for doing business (info. from Forbes magazine). By a year before New Zeland occupied the second line of list. Leadership of New Zeland was provided by her "transparent and stable" business-climate, encouraging an enterprise, explain in Forbes. New Zeland gained the lead on four from 11 indexes that investigated employees of Forbes. A country leads in the field of the personal freedom, protection of rights for investors, on the low levels of bureaucratization and corruption ps:In 2008 were a world crisis, it did not influence on N.Z
ö Great numbers for a developing country. Keep it up and you will one day reavh the status of poland.
Are you serious? I guess that depends on what you think is important. When I lived in Germany, our poor living off government subsidies were living better than their working class. They pay dearly for taxes, and more taxes on luxury items.
Education for Swiss people is eventually also for free. Healthcare not, but it is on the much better level than in Russia. For housing, bills for electricity, water are raising all the time. This is the latest paper from AIF:http://www.aif.ru/realty/utilities/chyornye_dyry_zhkh In 2016 all the utilities bills may go up by 100%. So if you compare what is left after all payments in Switzerland and Russia, on average, Swiss people will be in a much more favorable position.
Well, MarkusS, I would confess that most of the people in Germany would not spend 8500 euros for a single person for a vacation trip. If you have a family consisting of let us say of 4 people, you will need to pay for such a trip 34000 euros. This is nearly half of my yearly salary, which I think is not so bad. And I can not afford this.
Of course every deadly snake or critter lives in New Zealand; so your freedom lasts half the time it would in somewhere safe. That place has poisonous spiders that can eat venomous snakes. No thanks!
Then why are you asking someone to define a field strength when Earth has only one gravitational field?
Who told you this nonsense? In N.Z there are no snakes or spiders... this poisonous are in Australia. But these poisonous don't live in ''temperate climate'' as in N.Z. You need to have a launcher that is capable to reach a certain speed in order to get into close space orbit or to far orbit. If any country is able to reach a far orbit of the Earth it automatically can be considered as having the ability to send their SS further.
I think you are confused, I was making a point. The earth's gravity and escape velocity are not synonymous. How many times must I remind people that words have meaning? If you-all can't comprehend what different words mean when pointed out that are important in such topics, then please leave, and don't try to debate us adults.
Why are you rationalizing this? Different people will assume a different distance or point. I think, indicated like it was originally, the most common point people will assume is where SOHO resides. Now... I'll bet you have to look that up! ---edit... LOL... This is where the site took me for "first unread." Then , going back, I see it is older than "first unread."
Thanks for the heads up. Someone must have been pulling my leg. I was told NZ was like an even more dangerous version of AU.
No one has to assume anything to determine where Earth's gravity field ends. It ends wherever the gravitation potential from another body exceeds Earth's gravitational potential. If you think there is another metric for measuring the limit of Earth's gravity field, please state what it is.
That actually is kinda a rumor, strange. All the pictures I see of New Zealand look like a literal paradise, gf and I want to visit one of these days
The Roman Emperors spent the better part of their time trying (and failing) to conquer Germanic people. Being half Italian and half German is like being half Hutu and half Tutsi...
