Can they, yes. It just happens to always be the same excuse almost every time a mass shooting happens, be it a school or church, and this coupled with the fact that he clearly wanted to start something bigger.

Wanna know who else is introverted but also doesn't feel mass shooting is necessary? Me.

I don't really think anyone sane questions this as being "evil."

Fox, like many on the right, perceives defending, or denying the existence of, white supremacy as being a form of defending whites, which they see as being their sacred duty, but they couldn't possibly be further off the mark on that. What they're actually doing is polluting and defiling white America with vile white supremacy.

Now don't dis that George Soros outlet gold standard. As one of the propaganda enforcement arms of the Democratic Party, Media Matters is sacred.

Must be getting your info from Media Matters, certainly not from FOX news.

Either you've never watched Fox or you aren't being honest with yourself about what you're watching.

I'm not a gun nut nor do I have any affiliation with the NRA. I'm just a reasonable gun owner tired of unreasonable laws which seem to often be passed when emotions are high. The law that passed in my state will do little to stop crime but creates an unreasonable burden on legit gun owners. It wasn't about safety, it was about slapping gun owners in the face while saying it's "reasonable" and "sensible".

So what do you propose to do about guns?

He didn't blame guns. He was decrying the fact that we have some of the most lax gun laws on the planet, and a populous who refuses to allow anything to be done about the carnage despite the carnage.

Unless your only purpose in owning a gun is to hunt for food, there is no legitimate or reasonable need to own one. Of course, that is just my own opinion.

That actually sounds reasonable to me. You may very well not know that your friend has a history of mental illness, is a felon or has a history of domestic violence, any of which make it illegal for him to have a gun. So, if you can just loan him a gun without checking any of that, wouldn't that create a pretty massive hole in those restrictions?

Realistically, what they're probably trying to address is people who sell guns to felons and whatnot, don't submit any paperwork, then when they get busted, they claim they were just loaning it...

Okay, are you also on drugs for addiction or depression or some other psychotropic medication?

You call it an excuse I call it things these mass killers have in common that shouldn't be ignored.

Media Maters stated goal is to try to discredit Fox News they received million from the likes of George Soros to do so and doing it tax free
and all those millions spent for over a decade and every year Fox News ratings increase and every year they are polled the most trusted TV News Outlet
So keep it up the more you liberals try to discredit them the stronger they get

Roof didn't go to find gang bangers and others who are raping and murdering people. He went to the nearest place he could find with unarmed black people and murdered 9 people. He was too gutless to face the problem, so he went to a place where people look like the problem to him. There is no reason to disarm people in church. I suspect people who attend church regularly commit less crime than the average person. Why do some states allow people to carry, but not in church? Is it some magical place that God feels the need to put a law in place to protect himself?

This murderer is just another product of racism and extremist right wing propaganda supported by Fox News tea party extremists, I guess he was "taking his country back" right? Oh and lets not forget he was "mentally ill". But the innocent kids at the pool party are "animals" for resisting being beaten.

What "problem" are you referring to?

Regardless, on a day where a guy brought a gun to church and killed nine people, you really can't think of a reason people don't want people bringing guns to church? Seriously?

    – “Time to take back America,” Vice President Joe Biden, September 2014 Labor Day speech in Detroit.

    – “My friends, it is time to take back the country we love,” Hillary Clinton, Aug. 26, 2008, at the Democratic National Convention.

    – “This is the year we take our country back,” Al Franken, then a candidate for a U.S. Senate seat from Minnesota, in October 2008.

    – “Looks like folks are ready to take back America, take it back. . . . It’s going to be because of you that we take our country back,” then-Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, addressing the Take Back America 2007 conference.

Dang FOX news tea party extremists! Racists, one and all!!!!

Don't you know what context means? I guess not. The context of "taking back the country" when uttered by a white supremacist has a very different connation than when a politician says it...:frustrated:
