Which asks us to posit as true that you will always be able to tell a transgender woman from a cisgender woman.

Gay men are attracted to people who exhibit traits typically associated with being a man. Traits possessed by cisgender and transgender men, not transwomen or cisgender women (with the exception of some atypical women with unusually masculine traits).

Labeling a man who is otherwise straight as 'gay', based solely on the genetic makeup of someone who exhibits traits typical of women without having been born as a cisgender woman, is unreasonable. And that's putting it nicely.

They would know that the suspect was born male. This doesn't really prove any point one way or the other.

    - - - Updated - - -

The DSM removed it in the fifth edition and the ICD is notoriously more hesitant to remove things that aren't actually disorders.

Species dysphoria isn't a real thing. Gender dysphoria is, and it's caused by a mismatch between the brain and body. One is valid because it's a real condition and the other is just something that people like you have confused for a clever retort.

Which "first sentence" Yours or one of your linked articles? Can't even access your second link. No idea what you mean by "Flip flop? Same."

This, however, comes from your first link:
The fact that you can quote an article on one particular form of intersex condition doesn't mean you understand what you quoted, or that other forms of intersex condition (some of which I addressed in my post) fail to exist.

What part of that has anything to do with anything I've stated?

I believe I said as much.

If you think what you posted qualifies as sufficient "research", you're very much mistaken. What did that take you, fifteen minutes, tops?

Behavior does not determine one's orientation or sexual identity. I'm seriously not going to endlessly address people's repetitive insistence that the opposite is true, just because they mistakenly think or say so. Re-explaining to me something that isn't actually a fact is not persuasive.

There is just way too much stupid going on in this thread for me to waste any more time on it.

    Unsubscribed.

The first sentence of that paragraph.

Go into the wiki. footnote 7 links to the abstract and the abstract has the full text available. Might be a problem with your browser cause I opened it just fine just now.
Flip Flop: Seems rather self explanatory, but then you're having trouble with simple definitions so I guess I made a fine pair of asses of you and me by assuming you'd get it. If you start with female genitalia and traits then in puberty you FLIP FLOP sprouting male genitals and the traits of a male, you're not quite either or now are you?

A person can have whatever mental view of themselves as they wish. Doesn't mean their biology changes.

It has to do with the OP. Which is what we've been discussing, because going far afield is against the rules. If you want to talk about mental conditions where one has the biology of a male but the mind of a female perhaps you should start a thread on that?

You said doesn't necessarily mean, which would mean that it COULD mean that. Which it has never been recorded as doing in humans. Just clarifying that's all.

You ASSume I've never discussed this before in my entire life, nor ever had to take a psychology or human sexuality class. What other things will you ASSume about me?

Well, since you people don't accept peoples self identification, how else could it be determined?

Except its not quite the same as gender identity disorder. They've changed how and why one would be diagnosed. Subtle distinction but important.
Now its not "o you're a dude but you identify as a woman? Disorder check" its "o you're a dude but you identify as a woman? Does that freak you out? No? No disorder"

This thread isn't about them. It's about the men who are attracted to them.

That's for him to come to grips with. I couldn't care less what he thinks he is. If you're attracted to what is sort of a man or a female, you've got a fetish. Looking like a female doesn't mean you actually are one and if the guy knows it, there's some confusion going on. Doesn't effect my life, but we're just chatting here.

I think boys who adopt the demeanor and appearance of girls and engage in sexual relations with men, and the men who prefer to have sex with such ladyboys, are both having trouble accepting their homosexual orientation.

They consider not accepting their delusions as to their sex, to be mistreatment.

Only for the people who are locked into how their culture who has conditioned them to define people based on their body parts.

The great example is if you have a penis then you must be a man.

And therefore you must act accordingly as I define you or I will take a belt to you and punish you until you come to your sense.

    - - - Updated - - -

No, they consider mistreatment as people forcing them to be something their not because if they have the penis then they can only be one thing, which is an extremely limited way of thinking.

But I'm just turning blue in the face.

There's a difference between getting off on crossdressing and being transgender.

I'm a colossal sexual deviant. I'll admit that right now. I have many perversions, and "adopt[ing]... the appearance of girls and engag[ing] in sexual relations with men" is among them. I'm not in any way ashamed of that. But I'm not transgender. I just have a fetish. I go about my normal life as a man, I think of myself as a man, I just like dressing up in a particular way while doing obscene things. Trans people, however, live every day of their lives as their identified gender. They think of themselves as their identified gender. It isn't a fetish thing, they don't get off on it, it's just who they are.

Don't confuse perverts like me with perfectly normal trans folk.

Then you'll accept me as a Trans Species? Since I was a little boy I have identified as a Golden Retriever. When ever I hear a bird rustling in the bushes I adopt this stance...

To this day when ever anyone throws a stick, I chase after it on all fours. I just can't help it.

We are speaking of ladyBOYS here. Males who dress up as women. They retain their genitals.

Nobody is forcing them to be something they are not. Using the bathroom designed for people with a penis, if you have a penis. Isnt forcing them to do anything. They in fact do have a penis.

IRRELEVANT, since the claim is that it is not a disorder

If you haven't been intelligent enough to grasp what I was saying all of the times I explained this to you previously, you won't be intelligent enough to grasp it now.

    - - - Updated - - -

Ladyboy is a really slapdash translation of Kathoey. Kathoey has different connotations in Thai. They're thought of as a second kind of woman or as a third gender.

Of course, you've had the nature of trans people explained to you many times and it doesn't seem like you've been able to grasp that either.

Perhaps transphobes are just ignorant and incapable of understanding outside of a narrow cultural paradigm they grew up in.

Cite an instance of someone being forced into a certain behavior. You're just making it all up.It's the LBGT community that's trying to force the rest of us into your delusion.

You claimed all they did was change the name. That's not what happened. BEING transgender used to be the disorder, it was a default. Now it has to cause severe distress to be diagnosed as the disorder. Otherwise its just a thing, not a disorder in the DSM.
They didn't just change the name they changed the diagnosis conditions.

Anybody old enough to remember Tula...the post op trans model...who posed for Playboy in the 80s.

There are photos of her...a few NSFW (from the Playboy shoot)....simple Google search.

Okay, if a heterosexual man finds her sexually attractive....what does that mean?

This has been answered. Does he know she's really a he, biologically speaking? Does he still like biologic females as well? Bi-sexual. No? Homosexual.
    Nothing wrong with that.
