They really do not need a law. Discrimination arbitrarily is unconstitutional. 22 states have express laws, but every incident where it is contested they are usually upheld anyway. You can not indiscriminately discriminate in this country.

 

A law that arbitrarily discriminates is unconstitutional. A business owner discriminating against a specific group of people, is not. It might be illegal, depending on the laws governing the locality where that business is situated. But it's not unconstitutional.

There is a difference between legal discrimination and private discrimination. The constitution bans legal discrimination, but it does not, and should not, ban private discrimination.

 

My point is that homosexuality is wrong because God said it was and there is nothing about it in the constitution legalizing it so therefore a homosexual so society in America cannot exist

The Civil Rights Act of 1964, Congress asserted its authority to legislate under several different parts of the United States Constitution, principally its power to regulate interstate commerce under Article One (section , its duty to guarantee all citizens equal protection of the laws under the Fourteenth Amendment and its duty to protect voting rights under the Fifteenth Amendment. This landmark piece of federal civil rights legislation in the United States that outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, ended unequal application of voter registration requirements and racial segregation in schools, at the workplace and by facilities (AKA private businesses) that served the general public (known as "public accommodations").

States do not need to enact legislation based on this federal act that uses the constitution to provide equal protection under the federal law.

You are misinfromed. The states that have enacted such legislation are being redundant by creating state legislation that already exists at the federal level and has since 1964.

The constitution uses words like life, liberty (the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.) and the pursuit of happiness. What country do you live in? Have you considered private school or home school? Or maybe you could just move to an area that doesn't have such ridiculously ran halls of academia. My youngest just graduated from high school a few years ago and they prayed before football games, still say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, and are allowed to wear t-shirts with NRA/historical & patriotic slogans depicting the heritage of this great nation and it's military.

well I trust my pastor, Chris Hodges, who says that we are near the end times which I also believe so pretty soon a lot of Christians will be discriminated against, but I don't mind that because that is when the church does best. also I do think, I have all day to think. everyone of those options is liberal. all I ask for is an unbiased education.
