I think that abortions lead to more deaths. Yeah I may be not supporting gun ownership since I believe that people don't need weapons in their everyday life. If someone wants to shoot that much he can enlist in the army where a person will get plenty of different guns to shoot. But abortions are even more deadly. I'm sure they have to be banned as abortion means murder. It's especially important nowadays when America is so underpopulated.

uhhhh, hundreds of thousands of abortions are done every year...

    http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss6311a1.htm?s_cid=ss6311a1_w

and uhhhhh guns kill roughly 10,000 people a year...

soooo depending on the years you want to compare, abortions kill like 50x more people per year...

and to think both of these numbers are down from the past... lol

You have to be alive before you can die. A fetus is not alive.

By the time of the abortions say around ten weeks it has a heart beat finger prints and brain waves. The only difference between a fetus at five months and a New born is lung capacity. It is very much alive. at ten weeks in. By three months it is almost in constant motion. Your average fetus is more alive and more active tna some 20 year olds of my acquaintance nut no one is trying to kill them.

So all we are is a beating heart and fingerprints? No. There is more to life than that.

Yeah. To you, humans are no different than sea slugs.

I say we are different than sea slugs. I say we have souls. Or maybe it's some kind of lifeforce.

Lots of animals have hearts and identifying marks and movement. But none of them have been to the moon. There is something that sets humans apart. If that something began at the moment of conception then what a cruel life it would be for stillborns and miscarriages.

Life does not begin at conception. We are more than a mass of cells.

Lol, a fetus is dead? How does it grow when it's dead?

Stalactites grow. Are they alive? Now we aren't even cells. Apparently, anything with a shape is alive to some people.

Then perhaps the stand on abortion should be retroactive.

Stalactites are not alive, they don't have cells. How does a fetus grow if it's not alive?

How does a stalactite grow if it's not alive? How do hair and fingernails grow after you die? Growth does not equal life.

What does any of that have to do with a fetus?

You tell me. You brought it up.

I will never believe that all we are is a collection of cells. Humans are simply too different from animals. There is something else in us. There is something more. And that something does not exist in a fetus.

You brought it up, you said a fetus is not alive.....

So nothing is alive unless it has "that something". When do we acquire "that something"?

I'm going to feed my dead dog now.

Did you suck your thumb today or are you not alive? You can shriek that a fetus is alive all day long and at the end of the day you cannot prove it. All you can do is denigrate life down to no more than cellular activity. How sad for you. How sad that you think that is all you are. No wonder you're so bitter.

Do you celebrate your Birth Day or your Conception Day?

If all we are is a collection of cells than why worship a God? We are more than our bodies. There is more to life than a beating heart. To insist that a beating heart is life is the same as insisting an alternator is a car.

Exactly. When do we acquire that something?

Who the (*)(*)(*)(*) are you to say they're not alive?

A "fetus" is VERY MUCH alive within the 3 weeks...

Hopefully both, since most whites kill each other with guns, than any other race and their white women keep getting the most abortions, is a total win win for the Democrats:clapping:

That is a good point to shove in the face of pro-abortion, anti-gun liberals--abortions kill more people than guns. It is kind of like conservative warmongers and their righteous indignation over abortions.

The definition of life is that the organism is carbon based. A stalactite is inorganic--it is not carbon based like plants, microbes, animals, and humans. A tree and microbe are alive, but they do not have a neurological system (brain). Humans and animals have brains and neurological systems.

Hair and nails do not continue to grow after your dead. DUH
