Well, you got no problem with proposing just that, along with a 3000 mile wall that would be more difficult to build than the one in Game of Thrones.

I don't think we'd have to track them down. I think that if the people of this country feel strongly enough to pass laws outlawing guns then they will mostly be good law-abiding citizens like they always have and turn them in voluntarily. NRA propaganda notwithstanding, I think it's only a tiny minority of our citizens that are willing to become criminals in service to the gun manufacturers.

Law enforcement has never been easy, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have any.

 

I very well could call it "mental issues" for anyone who'd take a life, but that would be undermining this particular case. It seems the murderer was hell-bent on revenge, and got his wish. Some people, when pushed over the edge will do that. The shame of politics is that we've "glorified" murder and turned it into a sport, trying to figure out who or why.

It doesn't really matter, all that matters is that we either hopefully A: Find these people before they commit the crime or B: When they do, put them down before anything else. Our politicizing the issue, gives them an immortal name where the next self-righteous murderer could easily appear.

Why do some posters here feel it necessary to post the video showing the actual murders. Fair enough posting the version up to the moment the gun was pointed at the woman but after that it becomes purely "entertainment". It is not necessary to see it, "we" know what it will look like. Anyway, I will never view someone being murdered. Pretty much the same culture as sitting watching "shock and awe" while eating pop corn.

That's because they're usually laying on the ground defenseless and bleeding.

 

Sensitivity is understandable perhaps even admirable....now I do not watch T.V. but those who do see umpteen murders every day...not real murders but made to look so realistic you could not tell the difference.

Go to the bookstore and just about every best selling novel has something to do with murder, killings etc.etc.etc. and so forth....so the question is: why is society so mesmerized with violence?

 

I don't even think the media wants to cover this now that the guy looks a bit black.

 

So... it does nothing to take away the guns of criminals. Like the one we're reading about today.

Well, here's our motive.

I'm girding myself for the blame game incoming. Have at it, you animals.

 

Early reports indicated that this was a white shooter. We can expect this story to go away relatively quickly, now.

I wonder if she turned down his advances? He might have saw it as racism and decided to get revenge. There are some on the left who would sympathize with him as a likely victim of racism.

 

A very terrible situation, and an unfortunate end for two very short lives. I'm reading that the suspect shot himself but is still alive? I hope he recovers, so that he can instead rot in prison. The death penalty would only be fixing his failed attempt.

 

First of all, they should not be broadcasting anything anymore about this. In a way this could be their fate, so publishing details and giving other losers ideas is not what you need to do, but since integrity in Journalism is dead, this flies. Argue it all you want.

No, but I know for a fact there was another case where a bad guy used an unregistered gun to shoot a reporter.
