Because he is obviously racist against whites just like former president Bush.

I deployed in relief efforts, as an activated USAF reservist, as part of Joint Task Force Katrina . A week after landfall, Air Force personnel in the area numbered nearly 8,000 active duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reservists.

it was the worst natural disaster I have ever witnessed.

Nagin also wanted to make New Orleans all black and call it chocolate city. The media blamed it on fatigue.

He's only there due to the high population of black Americans. Otherwise, he wouldn't give a (*)(*)(*)(*). The race card was played heavily with Katrina, and that's the sort of thing that he and other left leaners like, it's what they thrive on.

But he is only there cause it's majority black as you said. He's a racist against whites, just like Obama.

    I tried, I didn't find anything.

I'm not complaining, I'm just fed up with hearing about this on every news station. I've heard about it for almost a week here in Louisiana now and it's really not as big of a deal as its being made out to be. New Orleans got hit hard, but other places were hit harder. I was just wondering why this one was so special, and why he only made it to one area that was hit. And if he's going to set the precedent for visiting hard hit areas from natural disasters, he needs to follow through, not just hit one black neighborhood and be done. I recall Obama being extremely concerned about the people of NJ after super storm Sandy rolled through. He made one trip in May 2012 and I don't believe he's been back since. In fact, I remember a lot of residents being mad at him because he promised immediate action and a year and a half later, some were still without power.

Nah, only obama. Bush isn't there to talk about a job being unfinished until white households are making the same or less than black households and he's not saying that it's Congress's job to come up with a budget to help the people of New Orleans or threaten to shut down the government. Bush isn't there to spew hateful lies like a raging mad child.

The failure belonged to Mayor Ray Nagin.

He was in charge, he had authority, he failed.

In a way. The community is also responsible. YOu know Katrina comes. Know your neighbors. Car pool, Find those school bus drivers. Apologize later for the lives you saved, but do what you have to.
Don't drown, don't be selfish, help others

As did Senator Mary Landrieu. And Governor Kathleen Blanco. All democrats. They were blaming Bush before the hurricane was even finished.

Then you also didn't know it was the governor who failed to call the Feds for more than 3 days, and the mayor is in prison, also accompanied by a congressman for stealing money. It was a cluster F for sure, but Bush wasn't the cause of that cluster

Yes I blame them too, heavily.

The community that was told repeatedly that the storm was massive and unlike any other and they needed to leave and refused to do so.

The community that looted "life essentials" such as electronics and booze.

The community that destroyed their free hotels and apartments such to the point that you couldn't be sure if it the damage was caused by hurricane or man.

The community that turned the Superdome and the NO Convention Center into tax payer funded lairs for drug dealing, gang recruitment, rapes, and murders.

The community that sat on their asses for an entire year with 100% free housing(that they destroyed), food, transportation, health care, and telecom services which then threw entitlement tantrums when they were told their free ride had come to an end.

The community that took their federal cash and bought guns, 'rims' for their cars, booze, crack, and prostitutes.

The community that caused a rise in gang activity and violence everywhere their post-Katrina sprawl infested.
