The European / Syrian Refugee crisis

The only real losers in this are the refugees who had nothing to do with it, while we had everything to do with it.

We set the stage for war in Syria when we destabilized Iraq. The truth is, we haven't a clue who our enemies are anymore, because we have made it our business to stay involved over there, while making enemies of everyone. And it's mostly because of our own profiteering motives.

Obama and pals didn't create Syrian, Iraqi, and the other refugees. The refugees were there and created because of the Iraq war that Bush started, which destabilized Syria, which caused the Syrian Civil War, which caused mass exodus of refugees out of Syria.

 

Whether true or not, we certainly dont want or need them here. We're filled to the brim with Diversity already. Let the rest of the World enjoy another serving.

Obama waited over a month after Libya broke out in mayhem... he waited for a year after Syria lapsed into revolution. Magical thinking won't work.. NO US President could have kept Mubarak and Ghadaffi in power.. and they sure can't save Assad.

 

This has absolutely nothing to do with the initial discussion of that the US is responsible for the creation of ISIS.

 

I didn't know Obama invaded Syria? Bush not being president for seventy years wouldn't mean he didn't start this mess. So explain to me, since they are all lies, where the refugees from Iraq who went to Syria was the fault of, during the Iraq war?

Who cares about them..Really, if they really cared they would do something about their own situation and better their own countries but they can't because they are weak and lack the fortitude to do so. We don't need them here, they will just cause problems because they ARE weak and ruled by a 7th century murderous doctrine.

Isn't it funny how these posters say things like ISIS isn't our problem to deal with but think it's our problem to deal with the problems they cause?

 

Some must think we just have unlimited space and funds. Anywhere people are facing hardship....bring them here. Enough already.

Too many handouts and sad sacks on the dole while our nation falls apart. Last thing we need now are ISIS and affiliates being sponsored to come in here under the guise of being poor refugees.

 

" They would do something about their own situation"? Their situation that they are in, is directly tied to our intervention in Iraq, when almost 2 million fled to Syria from Iraq, because of the war we started with Iraq, based on lies. We made them weak.

So who cares about them? We should, but we don't, because it's business as usual for us. And that shameful history of how we operate goes all the way back to Plymouth Rock. And guess what, everyone knows it. And it's that attitude you describe that is our signature, is the reason the rest of the world hates us. We did it to ourselves.

 

You didn't have to tell me about that. That was a given. But, it is that attitude you portray, why it is 100% on us. The truth is not easy, but we all know that what is going on with the refugees, is directly tied to our actions with going into Iraq.

Defended by the Euros in lieu of allowing such immigration with impunity.
Built by the Euros, with desalination water systems and infrastructure such as solar electric.
Maybe even let Private Industry bid on creating economic independence for the colony.
I bet refugee colonies in Libya would be cheaper than settling them in Sweden.

Th thread is about the Syrian refugee crisis and is not defined or limited by simple minded anti American propoganda...

 

Nothing anti American to point out the US is responsible for the creation of ISIS in Iraq, due to their extreme poor way of handling the security. That is the same ISIS that causes the Syrian refugee crisis.

 

The locals created and funded the terrorists. Our failing was in not stomping it out immediately instead of pretending running away was good policy.

 

Running away? Why were we there to begin with? There shouldn't have been anything to run away from.

 

It was not the first time the military had won a war and the politicians pissed it away...
