How quickly things have changed. It only seemed like yesterday that big corporations were funding anti-climate change propaganda. And now the biggest banks urge that the government gets their act together and starts to do something and even private money is needed to curb or handle the dark side of climate change.

It probably is too late to get things done now. But in the near future it seems that the climate change denialists are going to be an endangered species when the financial backing starts to rapidly decrease.

Big Banks are part of the fusion of Big Govt. and Big Business. Since progressives and their fellow travelers control the institutions of the country the smart money follows the path chosen by progressives. Money talks...that's all this is. Has anyone noticed how rarely Obama prosecutes Big Banks?

How do you know? I think the Republican establishment and the Democratic establishment are part of the fusion between Big Business and Big Govt. Follow the money.

So what you are saying is that up until this very day, the institutions of the country and the smart money have followed the path chosen by the conservatives? And now all of a sudden they've had an epiphany? Maybe we should all get some of that stuff you've been tokin' on.

Climate change is a lie to trick the people into handing over their paychecks voluntarily.

The money wont be used for the climate, because they all admit there is nothing they can do. They have no plans to construct giant Ionic breeze air cleaners, nor any other kind of solution.

    They just want money.

Its all about stealing money from the people to pay for the lies the world governments have been spreading.

No one country can pay off the debt, they need to steal from the entire planet, to cover it.

If it was on a smaller scale and just in America, the government would be spewing lies about roads, infrastructure, and education. Then once they got the money theyd blow it on everything but what they promised the money was for.

    dont believe these freakn liars.

Of course they do. Who stands to make the most from investment in additional climate response technologies and all the research required to get there?

    Wrong!
The fact that big banks support it, mean that it's a scam!! You cannot control the climate. That's B.S. to the nth degree.
And if they really do believe man can change the climate, shouldn't they go to the HAARP folks first? Is that not the logical place to start?

This aint about the government. This is about major banks that demand the government does something about it.

Yeah... who knows what who benefits the most of a more technologically advanced society.
I mean.. you can look how some live in the stone age and compare that to modern societies.

I'm supposed to care? Let the big Banks state their opinion. I don't have to agree with it.

We made and fixed the ozone hole though. Rather silly to say man kind is unable to do something.
A 100 years ago people said it's impossible to go to the moon... we did it.

I think we have done more to make the earth livable and clean by producing and using fossil fuels than we could by implementing the kind of policies most environmentalists want. See Alex Epstein's work on this issue.

How delightfully naive. Banks are in the business of making money, not hugging trees. There's nothing altruistic about their willingness to make big money off the eco-socialist Left's lust for power and control.

The banks we had to bail out? They screw it up and we are supposed to pay for it. Another example of fascism running wild in America

You mean... we made the earth livable for us, and not for all the species we wiped out and are about to wipe out.

As a follow up, this video explains why fossil fuel energy is a huge net positive for human life:

Not "really" a hyperbole, since we did wipe out plenty of species.

It has been pinned down that fossil fuel is part of why we got a climate change.
And this climate change is killing people.

Look at that Volks Wagen disaster, with their emission crap that secretly make cars produce -what was i?- 40 fold above the maximum level of toxic fumes. That aint healthy. It's like your cheering on how good smoking is for the meanwhile, while in the long term it's just rather bad.
