IMO if the right questions are asked of Hillary tomorrow, it could mean the end of Hillary. Then where will the democrats be.

Remember it is not just the four good Americans that Hillary let be killed in Benghazi, there is the 25+ other people that crossed the Clintons that magically ended up dead!!!!
The families of the four dead Americans should also appear at the hearing and tell their side of the story!!!!!

Hillary will be covered for....even by republicans. I believe this is bigger than Hillary. Many more big names are involved and too many fishy things have went on. I do not expect Hillary will be led away in handcuffs or even slightly scathed. Sorry to disappoint. I hope I am wrong but my gut is telling me I am once again correct.

On the contrary, I expect Hillary to perform well, and turn this pathetic "investigation" on its head, and reveal it for what it is:

a partisan, petty, vengeful, vindictive, obsessive witch hunt.

    historical revisionism at its best

i hope, pray, that one of the GOPers on the committee makes such a statement.

it will make for great television....and then the investigation will be over.

Hillary is not responsible for what happened in Benghazi just like the President is not responsible for any soldier killed in Afghanistan. I am confident she will come out victorious.

I'm predicting that Gowdy makes her look like a complete idiot without a clue in the world about what was going on. CNN and MSNBC will downplay Hillary's complicity in anything, and the radio waves and internet will be awash in people demanding that she be arrested for espionage.

Normally, a politician can work around these congressional hearings relatively unscathed, but Gowdy is very very good at this stuff, and Hillary has a temper that is going to require a lot of pre-congressional hearing drugs to keep her sedated.

How can you say Hillary is not responsible??? It is on the record the Ambassador asked for more security, and Hillary turned him down repeatedly. The during the long attack neither Hillary or Obama lifted a finger to help, and in fact those that wanted to help were told to stand down!!!!

I have eMailed the Republican members to ask her with all the security incidents in Benghazi, why wasn't there an exit/evacuation strategy in place? If there was one why wasn't it used prior to the attack? Hopefully one of them will ask.

Hillary Clinton's State Dept actually REDUCED security in Benghazi, despite pleas from Ambassador Steven's and others to INCREASE it. Liberals and Democrats want to frame the Benghazi attack as beginning when the attack did, so there was nothing that could be done. Nothing could be further from the truth. A Benghazi terror plot had been thwarted as far back as 12/2011, a Full 9 months before the attack. Plenty of time to put in place an evacuation/exit strategy.

These investigative committees...and I use the term loosely, are what is idiotic. The comparison to the professionalism of The Watergate hearings as compared to these dog and pony shows are astounding. The Watergate investigation was handed over to true investigators that had zero need for the political theater that is going to ensue on the taxpayers dime tomorrow. What will take a full day due to political grandstanding by every idiot and self serving GOP representative, could be wrapped up in a couple of hours by professionals that actually know what they are doing and how to conduct a genuine hearing...but then again, there is nothing genuine about the kangaroo court circus that will take place. That being said...Hillary Clinton will emerge victorious and this circus act will join all the previous BEHGHAZI investigations in the non-scandal dustbin . And yes, The RNC should reimburse the over four million dollar tab for this two year fiasco to the taxpayer.

I've heard "end of Hillary" predictions almost as much as I've heard "end of life" predictions. Just saying. LOL!

Why? I this a hit job or a truth-seeking investigation?

    - - - Updated - - -

The real scandal is that Congress is being used to take out opponents. They actually admitted to this more than once.

You mean there's a scandal that one party wants to take out the other party?

    That's not a scandal. That's just politics.

And this has the poential for some real drama. The main players are Hillary, Gowdy, and Cummings as the wild card. Hillary knows that Gowdy is a pitbull, and has broken every one of her underlings that has come before him. They've all folded and said "wasn't me!".

So Hillary can do the same thing if she wants, which means Obama gets to sit in the hot seat next. But what will Cummings do? He's obviously not all there mentally, as well as intellectually. What he does have going for him is the ability to have a tantrum. He's done it before, and I'm just hoping he'll do it again. Maybe this time, Gowdy will have him escorted out of congress under armed guard. I know he came close to doing it last time, but they had already wrapped it up for the day, so everybody left while Cummings was yelling like he had just lost his shirt in orange juice profits and wanted the machines turned back on, while the janitorial staff moved in.

Nobody cares about this committee and what it concludes because everyone has known what it was going to conclude before the committee even met. This issue will barely register politically. If Hillary fails to win election, it will not be because anything to which you refer in this thread.

And Hillary is about twice as resilient as Obama, and as we can all see, Obama has taken every hit and just kept going.

Like this one, from two FORMER Democratic pollsters, Pat Cadell (*cough, cough*) and Doug Schoen, who was just sure that Pres. Obama should not run for a second term, because there was just nooooooo way he could possibly win:

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/11/12/AR2010111202846.html

In their silliness, they wrote that immediately after the 2010 mid-term elections, because apparently, they are too stupid to know that after 160 years of electoral mid-term history that includes the GOP (since 1854), mid-terms have absolutely no bearing on the next presidential election. You would think that pollsters would be smarter than that. But they get lots of lucrative contracts to say stupid stuff on Fox News, where lots of people like to hear lots of stupid stuff...

What can she say to justify handling classified business on a private server?

She is going to claim she is stupid just like she already has...

She is going to play dumb while getting drilled and perhaps she will attempt to justify her stupidity in a stupid way - of course no one will care..

None of this really matters because there are clearly on consequences for her actions and she is merely being censured.

I am sure that the congressmen and women will welcome advice from all third rate Internet hacks and push their questions right to the front of the line. Expert counsel from people like you is exactly what is called for. You go boy!

LMAO...If you think that the Gerber baby can get a leg up on Clinton, you've been asleep for the past 25 years.
Clinton's got more guts and balls than anyone on the right, and she works harder than all of them put together.

Good post. I tend to agree with this. Remember that the last investigation by the GOP found no culpability, I think probably because cooler heads did not want to upset the national security applecart. Benghazi was CIA operation. Unlike the grandstanding Democrats in the Iran-Contra episode, the GOP house decided to do the right thing.

I don't know that we need yet another investigation. The GOP should instead be focused upon the foreign policy approach of Hillary that led up to the Benghazi result. The conundrum for the GOP is that most of the candidates share the same FP approach of US as world police, active engagement, and boots on the ground all around the world, same as Hillary.

I'm sure Clinton and her democratic cohorts on the committee have dedicated much time to coordinating their deflections from the issues. Cummings will rant and bloviate endlessly about witch hunts and attempt to put the investigation on trial. His assignment from Hillary is to run interference for her while floats her non-answers and attempts to appear collected.

this so-called "investigation" is now nothing but a partisan, petty, obsessive attack against Hillary, with the goal of lowering her Presidential poll ratings.

More like her Austerlitz, the idiots in the house managed to turn this fiasco into a rallying cry for the poor Woman, and actually helps her gain traction.

You ignore the fact that the Republicans slashed the security budget for the State Department, which meant that security was reduced at most of our embassy's around the world.

this "investigation" makes her look like the victim of a petty, obsessive, partisan pheasant hunt.
