As a committed atheist, I stand with the Russians in their battle against the rebel theists in Syria.

    How should Russia respond?

They should use their super powerful thermobaric bombs ... no radiations ... just some earthquakes and entire regions reduced to craters ....

What a loaded poll. ! is the answer YOU want, 2 and 3 are totally contrary to Russian policy in Syria and 4 is a total joke as Iran is a Russian ally and has a working relationship with the US. The poll is geared so that only option 1 can be chosen excepting joke votes.

Come back when you have an honest poll, this farce is meaningless.

If you like the EU and the billions Italy receives and has received in the past you should probably rethink your ideas.
Or maybe you don't have the capacity to do so.

Italy gives well more money to EU than how much money EU sends back to Italy, so ...

In the last decade, Italy has given to EU about 130,000,000,000 € receiving about 105,000,000,000 €, so giving to EU a "gift" of about 25,000,000,000 €.

You think no one notices you wrote the last 10 years? Maybe you should look at it historically. Also the regional differences are quite big. Nice try though. Not to mention that quite a few new members have joined in the last 10 years.

I certainly hope both Russia and the US massively increase their bombing of IS and other jihadi terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq with the aim of killing a maximum number of jihadi's.

So what? From 2012 the situation has even got worse for Italy: 16 billions € per year from Italy to EU, 10.5 billions € from EU to Italy. We lose 5.5 billions € per year because of our European membership, nowadays.

Btw ... Haven't you ever spent a thought about which countries have been the founders of EU? It was CECA and the countries were 3: Germany, France and Italy.

Try reading up on some facts: There were 6 founding member states of the EEC (the EU is something that came much later and always had more members).

Russia should do whatever they want in Syria, I say the western coalition takes advantage of this situation and tips the hell out the door. We have all done enough damage over there and have more than enough people hating us (and pretty much everyone else), now it's time for Russia to spend the blood and money.

Consider it a gift....and have fun.

So what? Italy has been a net receiver for half a century. Even though it is one of the richest countries in the world. Now because Italy is no longer a net receiver because poorer countries have joined and need the funds more than Italy you don't care?

Yeah... You are a conservative alright. Let me guess. From nothern Italy I imagine. Leghista di merda?

Bit simplistic to label all of Italy as one rich country. Northern Italy and the South and Sicily are barely the same country.

I know. It still is in the G7 and among the richest countries in the world though.

    Not the issue though.

Yes, but they are really only in the G7 because they make the best food and their designers provide the best gifts for the partners of the G7 heads of state. Nobody really takes them seriously on policy there.

No. G7 is the most industrialised nations. You seems to have little clue about how big Italy is in aeronautics, space, auto-mobile and weapons systems.
    Food and designers? Go read.

Clearly you don't since you think Italy is part of the G7 because of food and designers.
Clearly you had no clue that Italy is a leader in those sectors I mentioned. I had the opportunity to work with a lot of them.

Here is some more education for you since you are so lacking,

So do you actually live under the illusion that Italy is one of the 7 most important economic powers in the world?

You really take yourself too seriously.

Take a look: 6 countries signed the treaty that 2 countries wrote ... [to be even more accurate Italy was the third actor, at the very beginning it was a matter between France and Germany] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Coal_and_Steel_Community

    - - - Updated - - -

I have been a "Leghista" when I was younger, today I vote "Movimento 5 Stelle" [Grillo, you know that movement based on internet and without party ... which is so annoying for "real" parties at Rome].
