We should do all we can to cause anyone wanting to join ISIS do so. Once the people who even lean the way of jihad are exposed they should be removed from humanity. This is the only way to achieve peace. Did the allies try to change the hearts and minds of Nazis? No. Nazis were defeated and practically exterminated. No need to worry about insulting muslims.....who cares? Let as many as wants to go to fight with jihadis so they can be dealt with properly.

I was happy to read the bold part of your post above. I agree. I have mixed emotions about young men too, but if they can get through the refugee vetting process, then I'm OK with them coming as well.

I believe that Obama is being unreasonable by accepting military single men into this country without very detailed vetting. However, I don't believe we have a database that can accomplish the vetting.

How would ISIS help them through the refugee process?(And if they "could" then doesn't that itself ill-bode for our country?) America prioritizing its national security and tightening the flow of Middle Eastern Immigrants does not help ISIS., Does it "keep them there"? Yeah, so what. That's the goal. The goal is to either keep them over there, or to annihilate ISIS.

The Republicans have been providing Syrian Rebels (including ISIS) with arms? Really? There was NO ISIS/ISIL before Obama became President.

 

I meant ISIS would be their only support against the Syrian government. They are fleeing both ISIS and Assad. If we do not take them in, they will most likely choose to side with ISIS, since they are likely the only group willing to take them. The vast majority of ISIS fighters come from the ranks of Syrian rebels who joined the out of necessity. They were not strong enough to fight Assads forces, and ISIS wanted to take out Assad as well. So refugees would likely turn to ISIS for protection if the US stops taking them in.
