You telling me you don't got $5 million dollars trump? Really? I mean you said the over $10 mill your father gave you was measly so I'm just kind of confused her. I mean, yeah charity is good but this won't be the perception of anyone reading this article. last time it worked, this tie you are using a much more ethically questionable method.

Then again maybe CNN should see if he actually doesn't show up. I don't think Trump will drop his campaign for a day when millions are watching so they could probably play chicken with him.

If I were in CNN's shoes I would wait until the debate to see if he takes part in it (which he will regardless...it's in his nature to try and be in every spotlight. His ego is even too big for him) and donate that after the debate just to stick it to Trump

He'll be in the debate even if CNN demands he pay $5 million to a charity for the spot.

CNN needs Trump to be there in order to make money and he knows it.

What is it Trump keeps claiming?? Isn't he saying he's worth 7 billion dollars and pays 6 million dollars a day in taxes? The numbers are shocking..

But the mere mention of his name pulled you into this thread to post. You now owe The Donald $5 million.

I have no doubt that T-Rump will ultimately get what he deserves.

The amount to scrutiny is increasing by the day and sooner or later something will come to light that the sycophants will ignore but the rest of the nation will abhor.

If he's serious about running, he will attend because he can't take the chance Carson goes ahead of him.

Yup. That's all the average leftist would get out of this. Hike up your mom jeans and grow a pair like The Donald.

We know how it ends in mom jeans:

Sad....that some are using him for that purpose, but he doesn't care because it is making him more popular which can mean more money for him, too. Too bad so many can't see him for what he is. A pompous liar.

You truly picked the right username. Trump is such a liar, the 29/30% that follow him are not smart enough to figure out that he can't deliver what he promises and most of his other comments are lies....aaaah, they're so in the dark!

Trump is a rodeo clown. He's an insult to thinking conservatives.

But he's got balls. And he knows which buttons to push. And the media didn't make him so they can't break him.

And Obama's so worthless and opposite all that, it insures Trump will get solid support.

It's all taken out of context.

Trump said " “How about " not that he plans to or will. It's a what if.

    You've got to be kidding.

CNN isn't going to pay him one thin dime. They're not even going to disccuss it.

If empty bluster is "setting the tone", you're right.

But if you think Trump holds some sort of high ground by demanding that a television network pay him for publicity, you're either blind, or very naive.

What is this idiotic "fear him" meme?

T-Rump is a political joke, nothing more, nothing less.

He has absolutely zero substance to offer which is patently obvious to anyone with working synapses.

He is making a spectacle of being "non-PC" which is just another facile excuse for spewing baseless bigotry and trying to hide it behind the label of "non-PC".

He doesn't even have the support of a majority of republicans behind him for good reason because he is doing the party way more harm than good.

If anyone has a reason to "fear him" it is those few endangered republicans who still stand for genuine conservative values as opposed to those who imagine that using demeaning and degrading terms about other people is what "conservatism" is all about. No, it isn't, and never was either. Genuine conservatives understood that this country was founded on the principle of compromise and that in order to get anything done it was always going to be a compromise solution. Furthermore they understood that vilifying your political opponents was a really dumb idea because you still had to come back the next day and work with them. That is why there were so many friendships across the aisle because good people liked and respected each other even when they disagreed.

This imbecilic "fear him" meme is nothing more than puerile schoolyard taunting and as an adult I find myself laughing out loud whenever anyone brings it up it is that ludicrous.

Now I know that nothing that I have posted is going to stop this inanity from persisting but it was way past time that it called out for what it really is.

There are not enough Republicans left in our Congress that believe in compromise to get anything done.
