I was speaking of the actual area. Adam Lanza who lived in that area had an arsenal. And because of that, we all have to be armed at all times where ever we go.

If not, then we are sitting ducks. It's a pretty unique semi-casual event these days that seems to mostly prevail in the US. Go figure.

 

I heard on the radio that one was confirmed dead the body in the SUV unconfirmed, a third ran off and they are searching right now.

I certainly don't feel the need to be armed all the time. Up until recently when it got cold out there were gang shootings daily around my area. They mostly keep to themselves though. Anyway thing is that when you have guns, gun violence is more likely to happen. It's just like how having a pool in your back yard immediately increases your risk of drowning. Certainly it's (*)(*)(*)(*)ty that these events happen, but I'm not sure what can really be done. I guess actually getting some mental health infrastructure would be a good start when it comes to the crazies, but the gang violence is another story.

A name of a shooter released appears to be middle eastern. Not completely confirmed but could be radical Islamic extremist attack.

 

Actually, when I pull my pants down to take a dump, my gun is easily accessible on my belt around my knees at the top of my cowboy boots. You had better catch me in the shower, if you can get by my pitbull.

Mom-In-Law Of My Neighbor Is Currently On Police Lock-Down In San Bernardino...

My neighbor, buddy and co-worker and I were on assignment in Walnut this morning when we got the news of the shooting.
We looked up the street on my car navigation and saw where the incident occurred.
Phone calls to our loved ones were made.
My buddy called his Wife and she told him that's where her Mom currently is.
She goes there twice a week for elderly therapy and the like.
A county social services bus picks her up and she spends the day there.
The social care group did notify his Wife that the building (one of 3 there) she was in wasn't the building that the shooting took place and was and, as of this post, still is on lock-down.
My buddy and I packed up our gear and headed for home.
I was worried as I couldn't get ahold of my Wife when we heard about this so I wanted to leave also.
(I got ahold of her as we were leaving. She was at Walgreens.)
Coming home on the 10 freeway (we live east of San Bernardino) we passed by the Waterman exit off the 10. The off-ramp was PACKED!
So was the next exit (Tippecanoe). I guess the streets were blocked off and no one had anywhere to go.
This incident is occurring about 1/4 mile north of the 10 freeway. Some have reported that they are going to shut the 10 freeway down.
This area is where I shop (Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot, Office Depot, etc...)
The Outback Steakhouse (right behind this facility of the incident) is where we often go to eat as well as other restaurants within a stone throw away.
This entire area is where I drive through and sometimes work.
I get my coffee at Starbucks right around the corner.
This is where many of our friends work and frequent also.
This is where I LIVE.
This is why I am now-and will continue to be- on load and lock mode.

 

How come all these 2nd amendment nuts with thier guns are never around when their is a problem? My guess is they wouldnt do a damn thing anyways. For many people owning a gun is more for thier ego than anything. They are trying to make up for something. Kinda like the guy that buys a ferrari.

 

The longer the media goes not confirming the race of the shooters the more likely they are not white.

you don't read what I wrote very well. California has all sorts of idiotic gun restrictions. Half the guns I own have NOT FOR SALE IN CALIFORNIA on their cartons. They have magazine limits, and other stupid bans out there.

Seriously, if the names are Islamic, then the media and the Regime will work overtime to spin the attack into a personal attack or workplace violence...anything but Islamic terrorism....After all, Obama has advised terror is contained elsewhere.
