On Saturday hit a ball game, on Sunday attend a Church service and the BBQ that often follows it. America is a big country with a lot of different cultures, but only one has the grip on the public media and the government.

I'm sorry to hear that, I trust the Russians more than I trust the leader of the Turks. I think he is a crazy nutjob, barely contained by the remnants of the military and the previously more Republican government. Civil war there would not surprise me. I think it is possible that this entire Syrian mess is actually over a pipeline Qatar wants to build through Syria so it can sell its vast natural gas reserves to Europe. And we seem to be supporting the side that would sack the government in order to open up the country for the pipe-line transit. We clearly do not fully control our government or our military, but I'm not certain you folks do either.

The entire US/Syrian thing has been a pack of lies. I frankly believe almost nothing this administration tells me, and Congress, who is supposed to hold them accountable, reacts to the Administration like a pack of whipped pups.
