I think so, and that was, IMO, Trump's intent from the start.

No where in the interview was the word "coward" or "cowardly" ever used. So you are lying about what he said.

Liberals think all people that dislike Obama are conservatives and that all Republicans love Trump. Can't help their way of thinking.

According to the radical left hate group the SPLC, anyone who dislikes Obama or his policies is a racist.

Yea I've been called a racist many times on this board because I express my disagreement with Obama. The PC police are creating a seriously sensitive America. Hell Cam Newton just pulled the race card on TV. Didn't think he would stoop that low. I was pulling for him, now I just don't care.

As far as I can tell nothing will stop the other candidates and Fox from attacking him even if he were there. Therefore, I don't see that even being an issue. The debate format is so structured that he couldn't fend off the attacks anyhow. Even if he did knock the shinola out of one of the other candidates, there are what 10 others. He gains nothing and by beating up an also ran. If he falters, he can lose big. Besides, the day after he can hold a press conference and say what he wants how he wants. It would be a risky strategy if the media could ignore him, but they can't. He has all the cards.

i also think that Clinton should debate Sanders as little as she can get away with. Obama wore her down eight years ago and Sanders could do it again this year.

She just asked for another Debate, and Sanders said no.

this was a win win win for both FOX, Ailes, and Trump. FOX looks less Conservative with Megan Kelly playing anti Trump, Ailes comes off as a bit snarky but gives Trump a good excuse to no show that does not have a vagina involved. Plus Ailes gives FOXs journalistic integrity perception a bump - bonus point there . Trump escapes being the village punching bag while delivering #2 Cruz directly into the cross hairs of the establishment candidates. Bet 'ol Ted is just thrilled with that prospect. The charity event is just icing for spending shoulder time in Iowa. Perfect moves by all in my opinion

Not really. What most liberals believe is most people who are only capable of thinking in simple stereotypes probably aren't capable of thinking very deeply.

I disagree. If liberals were such deep thinkers, Obama would not still be in office. Before whining commences, the left said that about the right when Bush was President. Now we have Bush 2.0 and the liberals are completely blind.

It's embarrassing for us as a nation.

After watching tonights debate, Donald Trump seems less relevant to me. It was a good debate.

T-Chump is just setting himself up so that when it is time to debate Hillary or Bernie he can say he won't debate because the moderators are not fair to him....he's scared (*)(*)(*)(*)less of going in front of Hillary or Bernie because he knows he is a lightweight when it comes to foreign policy and many other issues. The blowhard will just blow away.....:)

For a change, an entertainment celebrity-free debate was a good idea.

The best part was the foreign-born guy and the anchor baby dude savaging one another over immigration.

I credit Carnival with providing the gist of the show biz personality's missing contribution: “I’m a maniac, and everyone on this stage is stupid, fat and ugly! … now that we’ve gotten the Donald Trump portion out of the way...”

(Amongst many others, Howie Mandel, Dan Ackroyd, and Jim Carey are also mirth merchant imports from over the border.)

That's not entirely true. The majority was consistently against him throughout 2015. The trend continues in 2016. He is clearly a divisive figure and America is definitely divide in two blocks. Us and them. Nothing good will come out of that.

Of course, your comparative metric is the 78% of Americans who disapprove of how Republicans in Congress are handling their jobs.

I hope that you're not going to boast about it.

Why would I boast about anything you've posted?
    1. Obama is a terrible President
    2. Congress is terrible

Nothing about Obama or Congress should deserve any boasting. Thank you for proving my point; I'm glad you brought Congress up too. They deserve just as much as Obama.

Trump made another brilliant move. Last night the nasty Ted Cruz was revealed. He showed he cannot get along with others and his performance fell flat. Meanwhile Trump's event was on many Iowa tv stations and he raised 6 million dollars for veterans.....great job!

I would hope that you would not do so.

Obama's current 50% approval/46% disapproval is obviously superior to his predecessor's 33% approval/65% disapproval at this stage of his tenure, but his predecessor's had been 65% approval/30% disapproval at the same juncture.

This may not be a time for politician popularity in general, but Obama is clearly middling by the objective comparison.

You cite a Republican-leaning tracking poll that still shows him to consistently receive a mediocre assessment from the public: "49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Obama's job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove." - Not much different from the the 50%/46% poll I posted.

I have never contested that his numbers are significantly superior to Bush's, but considerably worse than Clinton's at comparable stages of their tenures. The objective numbers amply confirm that.

It went pretty smooth, but there is still not one of those candidates that I want to hang my hat on yet, or that I think could actually beat Hillary in the general. Whatever one thinks of Trump, he has formed a grass roots movement of enthusiastic supporters, and I don't think any of the other candidates have that capacity.

I picked the most current poll. If you don't like it, there is nothing to prevent you from citing your alternative, if any.
