a teenage boy wants to be allowed unfettered access to a girls locker room, despite having a penis.


I thought this was only about where they urinated and used the bathroom. I was told that teenage boys wouldn't do such things.



Ask yourself, if you were a parent of a 14 yo 9th grade girl, was in this BOY'S PE class.... would you be ok with him being in the locker room. He tells you he feels like a girl, and may tell you he is only interested in boys.... but, what if he all of a sudden, starts feeling like a boy again whenever he sees all those girls in their bras and panties?

 

so he gets to compete against girls?

Yeah, that's fair, huh. I'd have been a 4 time state champ in wrestling if I only had to wrestle girls in my weight....

Instead of the LGBTQ crowd and/or their ilk coming up with a new name to describe me and others like me, I'd just prefer to use the designation of normal when it comes to "gender identification".

 

I'm telling you, eventually we're going to get to the point some schools already have, no more changing clothes for gym class, or locker room and bathroom stalls that are single occupant only so nobody ever shares a bathroom or changing area again... we'll spend more fighting lawsuits than the millions it'll take to retrofit existing places with rows of single room bathrooms... it'll be like rows of porta-potties in schools... equality for all, once we're all segregated and miserable, then we can be together...

 

How about instead of boys and girls they just designate locker rooms, showers and bathrooms based on more basic criteria.
One for vaginas and one for penises

 

The student should not be discriminated against.

 

Unless I'm allowed to also go into the girl's locker room then there is no discrimination.

 

Restrooms and locker rooms need to be have non stigmatizing, none gender base labels. They should be based on anatomy.

Ummmm, I'll bet it does. Reality has a way of doing that when you are trying to avoid it. This is not a "her", and if being reminded of that by virtue of being kept out of the girls changing areas "stigmatizes" him...well good. He obviously needs more reality in his life. Someone or someones have utterly dropped the ball at home, and in the professional field by allowing this boy to live in such nonsense.

He should have been introduced to said stigma a long time earlier.

Snap the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of it America. Men cannot become Women and Women cannot become Men. It is scientifically impossible to do so. Noone needs to honor your dressup time. Do it at home if it makes yoi happy by all means...but you cannot force everyone else to play along.

 

Agreed. He's being offered a private room to change. I don't see that as discrimination.

I don't foresee a solution that will please everyone here. This kid has a long, tough road ahead of him. It starts today.

I 100% agree, no one shoulod have to get naked in front of anyone else, same or opposite gender, time to end same sex group showers as well

the privacy of the other children is irrelevant. The concerns of the hundreds of other parents is irrelevant. If little Johnny wants to pretend to be Julie then we must perpetuate and encourage that fantasy, not hinder it.

The student isn't being discriminated against.

You don't pander to one mentally unstable individual by risking the safety and privacy of over ten thousand other children.

Does the kid ever grow into an adult? Then what? Or does his problem end with high school? And what if he wants to visit Saudi Arabia? Getting progressives in America to appease him is one thing, the rest of the world might see things differently.

 

Solution is simple. End gym class, or at least locker rooms.

Whom is being forced to shower with whom? Nothing int he article in this OP, in the three threads it spawned over the last month, indicated any such thing. No one is being forced to disrobe in front of anyone against their will.

 

Do you wish to emotionally scar the boy for life? The girls can deal with seeing a naked boy and the parents just need to accept it in the name of progressivism.

 

And how do you know that having a trans in your locker room does not scar everyone else for life?
