I find Modern Women's ease with Sexuality refreshing.

You know after being in the Middle East and seeing just how limited and repressed women are as far as being able to express any feminine sexuality and then coming home to see how women nowadays are not afraid to be the initiator of sexual contact to be refreshing in the extreme.

Now there are some men...especially those who are overly religious and can't stand to see any women expressing or exercising their right to be the one to come up to a guy and say..."Can I buy you a drink?"....are men who in reality fear women or at the very least have some deep rooted emotional trauma that makes them hate women.

Most likely because women never ask them primarily because of their attitudes.

But I have no problem with it at all!

Besides....what kind of a man is threatened by a woman who is strong, intelligent and is capable enough to handle herself?

I think it's something of a myth that males don't like being picked up by women. Like you say, it's mainly those who aren't having women do it to them that are "against" it.

I've often wondered if the overly strict morals of the ME aren't the reason for the widespread insanity that seems to possess that region now. Any area that's like that seems to go crazy, look at medieval Europe. Perhaps there's something to this idea that a healthy attitude to sexuality is a necessary adjunct of a society's overall mental hygiene.

OTOH isn't it a myth that Islam is sexually repressive? The society's that have it as the main religion may be repressive themselves and thus encourage the myth but Islam, as I understand it, doesn't HAVE sexual precepts. The Muslim's only articles of Faith are the Pillars and none of them mention sexuality to my knowledge. Heretical ISIS followers notwithstanding, Islam is the freest of religions, lacking even a priesthood no one stands between the Muslim and his
God, yes?

I think there's some truth in what you say but there's still a chicken and the egg problem about it. My encounters in the bath houses in Iran revealed an absolute orgy of gay activity. If however the religious police raided those found being passive were dragged into court and given an option of being stoned to death or having a sex change operation ( brutally conducted) at state expense. Those found being active were given a slap on the wrist. Prominent 'pillars of the community' and Imams found 'in flagrante delicto' were ignored. An insane society indeed.

Freest of religions? If so there's an enormous gap between theory and practice.

I beg to differ.

"Seuxal freedom" is first of all a very subjective term and secondly it comes out as much more beautiful than it actually is as "freedom" has very positive connotations. If you consider social pressure to "get laid" as freedom and over-sexualization with destructive behavior as refreshing then I do not know what to think really.

If you educate young kids that if they do have unprotected sex to immediately get and use Morning After or Plan B. Drugs there can be no possibility of Pregnancy.

The drugs cause a natural buildup of mucus upon the Uterine Wall which will not allow any Fertilized Egg to implant itself.

Because you were saying it's really bad that people have sex (outside of marriage, I assume)... in what other way can sex be really bad besides things like pregnancy and STDs? Though in the case of STDs, as long as everybody is honest it's more a matter of what risks you're willing to take than immorality.... sort of like whether you're the type who likes base jumping, or would rather cower on the couch.
