You always say things you know nothing about. Vladimir Putin never seized the press, but he did try to bring it up to par with the western media, and limit the percentage of foreign ownership. As for seizing companies, if you mean the criminals who were not paying their taxes like Khodorovsky, and stripping the Russian people of what was rightfully theirs, then maybe yes. He did do that...thank heaven for the Russian people if not for Washington.

As for the oligarchs who did pay their taxes and showed a concern for the Russian nation and people, they still have their companies. If it wasn't for Vladimir Putin, Russia would have continued to be a kleptocracy the way it was during the Yeltsin years when they were deceived by Washington and today their fate would have been the same as Ukraine's.

Anyway PM Medvedev wasn't talking about domestic issues, he was talking about foreign affairs. Russia says it will never bow to any pressure...and especially from the West... who the Russian people despise because they are bringing them to the brink of war with their insults, lies and propaganda. When the Russians say Nyet, they mean Nyet.

The life span of the Russian men is 55 because of drinking, and it has always been a problem. Maybe it's because they can carry their alcohol better than others... something which has to do with their Mongolian DNA.

 

Wait, 55 is a good average life span to you? I am sorry, it just felt like you are saying they can carry their alcohol better because they die so early.

I think Europeans handle their alcohol the best based on that map though. Actually, are you saying Russians have this same respect, yet unfortunately consume themselves to death for other reasons? That actually makes sense, as in those that dont ill themselves from it share the same Respect Euros have. American have literally zero respect for alcohol and from 16 to like 30 we have so many people who abuse it for the party scene. I just think more of them fade out of it than in Russia it seems.

I have to be reading you wrong, right? Mind clearing it up a little, my Russian friends tank nothing but Vodka, saying it "Is our RUSSIAN past time!" I always love how proud they are of Russia, my buddy Max is seriously one of the best people I know and he has a thick Russian accent and jokes with us about the KGB.

Kinda random to bring him up, but I just had drinks with him over the weekend. I told him I was sad that it seems Russia may no longer be a good travel spot due to their feelings towards Americans. I may go back with him sometime, say im Canadian or something lol

Perhaps alcohol is not the major cause of death in Russia, I have suspicions that Russia is not reporting deaths from AIDS related complications for whatever reason, that might also explain a spike in deaths and suicides among many young people in Russia lately.

 

There are a hundred adverse health conditions which might explain a spike in deaths and suicides - whatever made you think specifically of AIDS?

 

What I meant is that the Russians can drink more without getting drunk because of their Mongolian genes, then they are probably drinking a lot more than Europeans. This in turn would cause them to die at a younger age.

 

What about Tobacco.

It could be fault of the Russian women.... Some of them you would really need to be drunk to jump on, It is a proven fact that the more you drink, the more attractive ugly women become... It's just for some you really have to drink a lot...

 

I know why:
- if plant is in China but this is a plant of the USA company - count it as USA producer
- if plant is in USA but plant does just final assembly - count cost of the final product as USA manufacturing

I'm ok if USA produces those items for domestic consumtion. Russia don't need USA as a partner in those areas.

Not only because of drinking - Russia is not inside a top 10 of Alcohol consumption in Europe. But you should take climate into consideration as well. For instance in North and winter-like regions Oxygen has smaller percent in the air.

Try to understand this.

Russia nor China have neither the experience nor technology to properly, cost effectively and in a timely fashion develop Siberian Infrastructure.

The U.S. is pushing hard for Fusion.

It's just a short matter of time before the U.S. and specifically Lockheed Martin have up and running cost effective Fusion Reactors.

If Russia cannot gain access to Siberia and drill within 10 years......that Oil will stay in the ground.

What are you talking about??

Air which is 21% O2.....approx. 78% Nitrogen and about less than 1% trace gases.....the COLDER at or close to sea level air is the greater amount per breath O2 a person get's.

The ratio remains the same but colder air means thicker air and thus more O2.

At altitude O2 grows less and less but all gases exist at the same ratio.

If you want to see a lot of ugly women try roaming around the Bible Belt for a few years. It's amazing the suicide rate isn't 50x higher down there. I suppose that's why meth is so popular in those parts. Sex is the furthest thing from your mind when you're hopped up on that s**t.
