I dont know that they are trying. Im pretty sure they live and breathe comedy and are the greatest trolls on earth.

I mean these are the same people who said Mitt Romney needs to run again to unify and save the Republican Party. :roflol:

Wow! And that strong remark on Trump's political persona is coming right out of the mouth of the darling to the Conservatives, George Will.

Well they do a pretty good job of hiding those fact when they support Republican candidates...but we all know that many are just in the dark and listen to way too much right wing talk radio and Fox.

Rush Limbaugh already floated the notion of a possible Trump strategy.
That indeed if he makes it to the General he will move left of center.
That right now he's positioning himself as a Republican and a conservative,
but that won't guarantee the Independents who may want a more moderate
candidate.Trump may even go Left of Hillary on some issues so as to steal
her thunder. All this means,is that Trump is a Con artist.
He's certainly No Conservative. He's also banking on his messaging
or ... Making America Great Again ... which is simply a form of
    - Hope and Change - of sloganeering.Like what Ad men on Madison Avenue
    spend their days conjuring up.
The only thing Original about Trump is that he's 100% Fat Cat Capitalist.
Or a First team ALL American Crony Capitalist.

Anyone who thinks that Trumpf will run to The Hillary's left is about as politically astute as a potato. Actually I know some potatoes who are more astute that that.

Trump may be a "leftist" (or whatever)... but his candidacy's success, was enabled by a very extreme and radical Right Wing influence permeating this society. That is in large part responsible for what we are seeing right before our eyes.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Exactly.

    - - - Updated - - -

Indeed. The radicals on the extreme Right (Tea Party, intransigent, racist Republican Congressmen), essentially HOODWINKED millions of Americans, and now they are just pissed!!

While Trump is certainly familiar with the desires of the bread and circuses vote, I don't think he'd be likely to implement much of Sanders's platform. He might reform student loans, but I doubt he'd significantly increase welfare spending.

That being said, Will is probably correct that he'd put forth trade barriers. As someone who is mostly Libertarian, this is concerning to me, but it's not as concerning as things like the TPP, which both establishment conservatives and liberals support.

In short, at this point, I'd rather see trade barriers in place than agreements that erode national sovereignty for the benefit of multinational corporations.

I wouldn't be surprised --- if elected --- Trump gives us socialized medicine. It wouldn't surprise me at all.

He might. It would be better than the ACA, at least.

At this point, we eventually will need to socialize medicine, and since we already do it for the elderly (Medicare), even many conservatives are coming around to this idea.

The reason I support it is because it's not a normal market, so it can't be treated as one. Producers basically have all of the power when refusal for a service or medication can result in a consumer's death.

What's funny is Trump is being bombarded by the left and the establishment, to no avail. so there won't be anything left for Hillary. It will be ZZZZZZ when she attacks him. But, Sanders has softballed Hillary all the way, so lots of ripe fruit there for picking. :)
