If David Duke shouldn't be president, then who should? More politicians that tell bald faced lies to people?

We've tried with politicians, and they turned out to be liars. Now it's time to try with somebody who is not a politician. If that's david duke, then fine, although duke isn't rich enough to fund his own campaign.

That's another plus for Trump. If you want to get money out of politics, the first thing you do is get somebody who is already wealthy. It's like how banks used to be run. If you want to run a bank, you've got to be the biggest depositor. That way, it's in your best interest to make sure you don't make a mistake. You don't put some bum in charge of the bank or the country. You get somebody who is heavily invested, and has something to lose if the economy turns south.

As opposed to the republicans who are for the same ole same ole keep the border open. I don't care if Trump builds a wall or not, out of the candidates hes the only one even talking about the issue. That puts him ahead of the pack just on that one issue. Then we move onto jobs, who here thinks any republican candidate on that stage is going to create more jobs than Trump. The answer is 0. None of them will change a damn thing. People are tired of the same ole same ole. Trump is the only republican actually being attacked by republicans for pushing republican issues. That tells me everything I need to know.

    how about this

reduce the actual tax of corporations and close loopholes so that small businesses pay less and corporations who can afford armies of lawyers pay more effective tax. As a bonus the large corporations dont have to maintain an army of lawyers.

Make sure companies who produce in the US can be competetive world wide. In his super tuesday speech trump said "I have a friend who always purchased caterpillar. He has been forced to purchase from japan now as their currency value was so low there was no way caterpillar could compete" I guarantee you no other candidate understands why that is a problem let alone sees it as one or has any hope of putting forth a solution

Remove the interest from student debt so that the younger generation will have purchasing power to move the economy.

Prioritize people who spend money in the country instead of sending the money abroad so that it circulates and creates demand in the economy.

The current administration has better metrics for enforcement than anyone since Eisenhower. There have been repeated requests for massive increases in spending on immigration judges, courts, agents, and infrastructure that would be necessary to actually come with the immigration numbers. These requests have uniformly been excluded from Congress' budgets resulting in years of backlog to follow the current immigration laws. Similarly, the Democrats and some moderate Republicans have repeatedly submitted reform legislation to amend the laws, making enforcement easier, simpler, and faster, all of which have been stopped by GOP Congressional leaders. A President Trump would depend on that same Congress to enact his agenda. Do you believe that if Trump were voted in with a Democratic Congress he would get his way then? Or do you believe those "RINOs" would suddenly convert and timidly follow the guy they are all currently trashing in the press?

Business Friendly? It would be hard to see any Congress that would ensconced a Trump agenda. The current tax code has reduced the share of federal income paid by business from about 35% in the 50s / 60s, to less than 10% today. Do you really think Congress is going to shift the tax burden even further on the individual tax payer? Major tax reform isn't going to happen under a split government. The rest of Trump's rather detailed challenged plan would have the US pull out of treaty obligations, imply discrimination in favor of American Manufacturing, (currently against the law without National Security implications), and start trade wars with most of America's largest trade partners. I don't see Congress passing that package either. When Reality meets Rhetoric, Reality usually wins.

Let's see.... Americans were up in arms over Government Surveillance. If anything, Trump seems to be an isolationist, so there won't be a foreign build up. Homeland Security is already the largest domestic department and Congress hasn't met a military program it didn't like since Colin Power was in uniform. Exactly what security activity do you expect to add?

Congrats, you are the status quo. Unfortunately we need to tag this post and wait for the first Trump term to end to see if you are wrong.

Your average left wing nutjob isn't an enemy. They're just misguided and a bit too muddleheaded (as most people are, if I'm honest) to be much more than useful idiots for the establishment. They have this idea that government is superman, and if there is a problem, then superman can fix it.

Conservatives, on the other hand, understand that government has a very specific purpose. You don't call dominos and ask them to lower your health care costs. You call dominos if you want a pizza delivered to your house. Hell, I've had liberals here say "If you want small government, then why are you for a strong military?".

That's like saying "if you want dominos to deliver pizzas, then why do you call them to order a pizza?".

That kind of muddle-headedness needs to be laughed at.

The republican party is lying to republicans. Outright. The establishment is morally and ideolically behaving like liberal democrats. Yes...they say the right things but their actions tell us what they really stand for. Action speaks volumes.
Trump is true change. He is untested, but he is the mechanism that can topple the kings from the throne.

Cruz is the better candidate...and he is who I voted for...but trump has the wind beneath his sails. I will be enthusiastic when he is the nominee.

I think the thought that is fomenting at edge of their consciousness, but to which they are yet unable to come to terms with, is that conservatives by and large have been asking for too many things from their elected officials which are contradictory in nature or practice, hence why they have become the constipated party.

Whether Trump is their purgative or placebo is still to be determined.

BS. The #1 reason that people flocked to Trump is because we're looking for someone who will stop with all the mamby pamby PC crap. Someone who will speak up for the common American citizen before the illegal immigrants and every other fringe group that's looking for special, not equal, rights. Someone who will build up America abroad instead of always talking us down and making apologies. Someone who will kick the socialists among us in the teeth when they try to push their agenda down our throats. Someone who will earn the worlds respect through strength, not capitulation. Someone who will put Americas interests first, without apology.
2nd is FINALLY building the wall!
3rd is kicking the crap out of pant suit!

First, Second and Third reason. They are in power because of us. They have made promises and commitments they have not kept. When we expressed our displeasure, first they lied to us, then they ignored us and then they attacked us. So, it's on.

I think they see you not voting, and count it as 'apathy'.

Two guys in a bar are deciding who will buy the next round. The two customers both vote that the bartender will buy the next round.

Question: Is the bartender apathetic? Or is he refusing to participate in the democratic process?

    Prove what?

That people said Bush was going to be a good President because they thought he had "solid business experience"?

    Were you awake back then?

    How old are you?

Prove it, give evidence to your claim or else be known to make stuff up and lie.
