Anti Trump Protesters riot in Chicago

I also have had a difficult time listening to his speeches and interviews due to the dumbed-down quality, but there seems to be a deliberate reason for this on Trump's part...

He's a used car salesman that just happened to be born with a platinum spoon in his lying mouth.

Why are there no Republican protests in Bernie Sanders rallies being shown on TV?----oh, yeah, because they're not emotional nut case anarchists but patriotic Americans trying to restore the country instead of tearing it down..

 

Progressive activists have officially embraced the wife beater's argument: "Look what she made me do!"

 

The anti-Trumpets were rioting? That's one helluva spin. Things got out of hand because Trump created this toxic monster with phrases like ...

don't hurt him, but if you do i'll pay your legal bills/ I'd like to punch him in the face/ he deserved to be roughed up/ etc etc etc.

Even Ted Cruz recognizes this.

I think they don't go to Sander's rallies because they have to work.

 

Hmmm. The establishment right, and the BLM movement actually being on the same page--anyone but Trump.

 

It's more a mission statement than a slogan. Slogans are more like" black lives matter" or "it's for the children." Meaningless babble designed to entertain the simple mind of a liberal.

 

Totally agree. I see it in my own family. It is a mindset. Somehow we have to get people to see they CAN succeed. They don't have to be stuck in a rut. But we do need jobs.

 

And both will lose. The Dems also have their own "anybody but Bernie" movement. It's just more subtle.

 

Oh and they do like to label.....I told them I will only accept Phenom from them. Plus, they will still, have to pay me for it.

 

The weird thing is, is that if he were a used car salesman he would go broke because no one would buy a car from a loud-mouthed, pompous bully like Trump. Even people on the right would probably laugh hysterically if he tried to sell them a used car because they wouldn't trust him. Yet, they will vote for him for president. I am so perplexed as to why people can't see through the comb over to see him for what he really is: a con man.

 

Money says racism is their favorite term. It's probably the first word they learn.

 

Oh come on, really? This isn't some conspiracy, it's who they are at home.

 

I'm thinking there would be more violence if the people on the right were sitting in classrooms instead of working at jobs.

 

But it's really like what they are on the street. Street thugs or college students. Ugh. Neither have accomplished squat.

Those on the right have strong tendency to behave themselves no matter where they are.

 

And totally irresponsible.

Of course, Trump won't take any responsibility for inciting much of this violence, even thought there is no shortage of video showing him doing just that.

At another event on the very same day, he did it again.

This is not the bahavior of a legitimate candidate in a democracy, regardless of their idology.

Stoking fear and resentment, and inciting riots are the stuff of brown shirts, not Americans.

Donald Trump created this atmosphere and has been tending it for months.

He has played to fear, xenophobia, ignorance and white resentment, and stirred teh backlash from other groups, of whom BLM is only one. It's notable that the vast majority of the protesters in the video and pictures that I saw were not black.

Mr Trump has been asking for this for months. He's going to keep getting it too.

He has cynically sought to divide this nation against itself for his own gain.

And that is not what you want in a President.

They don't care because they just are enamored of his authoritarian ways. The content is less important to them than the way bully says it. These are the folks that actually admire dictator Putin.

 

I wondered the same thing. As I watched it on the tube, I got more pissed. Low life liberals need their face slapped. And the other rep candidates look like fools trying to spin it as if Trump is at fault. So, if he did it on purpose, it worked for me.

The demographic shift obviously isn't your friend
