WISE Founder Teaches Muslim Women Self Defense To Protect Against Hate Crimes

Well I won't bother to keep re-posting all of the links with all of the statistics that definitely show spikes & rises in attacks - specifically against Muslim women not only in this country, but all over the world in the last year or so. (I've posted them a million times to no avail)

All you have to do is type in "Muslims hate crimes in 2015", and you'd be inundated with information.

What I don't understand is the overwhelming pushback on these real events, and on hard evidence & facts.

Most of the replies in here are filled with comments saying that the videos are fake, that the stories are fake, that Muslim men are really beating them up, not strangers, false flags, etc. etc. etc.

The only time people live in this type of denial is when they either feel shame or embarrassment.

It's so much easier to just say something like:

"wow, this is a horrible situation, and I'm sorry to see so many innocent people being assaulted because of what others have done"

But I guess that's just too damn hard to do............

 

I got the vibe from Merwen that he was doing his typical thing that he always does, which is to grab at any straw he can find in his ever desperate attempts to find cracks or *****s in the amor.

Anytime I hit him with a well laid out post with all of my arguments & points laid out in a methodical framework backed up with links & videos, he comes back with some eloquent one liner that wreaks of disdain, arrogance, and sarcasm.

He cleverly tries to masquerade his contempt as thoughtful intellect, but it's easy to see through his thin veil of BS.

That's what he did here at my obvious misspelling of a word. It was weak, and it was pathetic.

I'm not mad about it, but he wasn't trying to turn it into a light hearted moment, and I felt like you jumped on it as well just to be piling on.

If you didn't mean it in a mean spirited way, cool, if there was no malice in your words.....cool, no harm, no foul.

Isn't makeup forbidden by Muslims? The women in the OP are hardly indicative of your typical Muslim woman. I mean, really, if they're going to wear the garb, shouldn't they be abiding by all the Muslim rules; i.e., no makeup, not going out in public with a male escort, etc.

The women in this story that are going to self defense classes are not going to protect themselves from their husbands.

The women in the videos & stories that were assaulted, spat on, and verbally abused were not abused by their husbands.

Like I've said - if someone is stupid enough to ask for trouble, especially for something as small-minded and unnecessary as making a religious statement in public, then they deserve to get it. We're all responsible for our actions, and that also applies to dressing provocatively in western dress. This is an imperfect world, and 'do your own thing' idealists would do well to contemplate the adage 'If you don't want to get burnt don't play with fire'. Apart from feeling bitterly resentful of being made to feel part of a minority in my own country, I have no problem with how anyone dresses.The sad fact is that we're all victims of one thing or another, as is exemplified in my recent post in the Pets forum: I wish that I could be free to do what I want to do, just by something as simple as altering my dress code!

On the contrary. Sane Centrist offered a video of an attack against a Muslim girl/young woman in the UK. The rhetoric then was that this had nothing to do with Muslim hatred and was rather to do with a game you people play in the United States where you apparently like to knock people out and sometimes kill them. The argument there was that it was nothing to do with her being a Muslim. That people in the United States do not mind who they attack with this game of knocking people out and injuring/killing them.

I was simply saying that regardless of this particular incident attacks on young Muslim women by young white Males are the most common in the UK. Attacking women who can be seen to be Muslim by their dress/headscarves is the most common attack on Muslims in the UK. In that respect the attack on this 16 year old Muslim girl fitted the norm but they were however according to the article I gave more likely to be attacked by young white males then anyone else. The figures were apparently given by Tell MAMA so regardless of whether the man in the video was copying you in the US and playing what you call a 'game' of knocking people out, he nonetheless chose the most common victim of the brave Muslim haters, that is a young Muslim woman. Sane took this example and illustrated how it was not just in the UK that 'brave' Muslim haters like to attack Muslim women but that the same was happening in the US which had resulted in them taking to self defence classes to protect themselves from cowardly American bullies. That was with connection with the first article.

The second article I gave however dealt just with the US. This article illustrates the dangerous position the US now has towards Muslims and mentions some of the regular memes parroted by Muslim haters on this site as well as making it clear that Muslims in the US are the 'other'.

This article shows how you stereotype all American Muslims into the worst you can find and frankly how this is based on ignorance as well as hate.

The situation of Muslims in the US bears a close relationship with that of Jews in Germany in the 1930's. I further said that research is suggesting that it is no longer a question of if there is going to be mass violence against Muslims in the United States but when.

I see the haters of Muslims at the moment as having the same mentality to those who supported how Jews in Europe were treated in the 30's and it is looking increasingly likely that they are going to be treated in a similar way. The future will likely look upon them with the same contempt as we currently look upon the Nazis.
