If the media spent 30 seconds reporting on every singe one we'd never hear about anything else. It's foolish and stupid to think we should. The casualties in Syria get reported on all the time. The OP is right that if this were Israel or the US in the past, it would have been headline news. Now people are numb to 39 civilians killed in a warzone, especially an ME warzone

 

The problem with Islam is they don't have one authority which will give them a correct interpretation of the different verses. Russia has large areas that are Muslim, and they are working with them to stop extremism. They feel the best way is for the schools to start teaching students a more moderate interpretation...that way they won't be enticed so readily by ISIS.

 

Please, for the salvation of this thread, tell us about just one war, anytime in human history, where civilians were not killed in large numbers. Just one.
