Somehow China should be forced to compete with our fairly good salaries, and environmental standards instead of us competing with China. Competing with China by mimicking her is a race to the bottom, not a race to the top.

Way off topic. I didn't do it.

No, by putting Americans first, instead of Syrian "refugees" and illegal aliens.

    It's really pretty simple

To bad its not simple, thus is why you don't understand the complex amount of problems that he might face as president. You think it is just so easy. And I didn't realize we are taking a mass amount of Syrian refugees. Are we now Germany? It is sad to see that you support a person based on one issue, and issue by the way, that he won't be able to fix. Logistically and financially we can't simply round up all the illegal aliens and ship them back to wherever the came from.

Of course, the Dems are so scared that they asked former Trump strategist to come out with this story.

I must admit that I am unaware what the "cost of labor taken home by the blue collar worker" is or how it is measured. Please provide a link to your data.

I do know that the income of middle class Americans has been stagnant for decades, whilst the moneyed elite have benefited enormously from government policies.

That's right, laugh off the fact that your entire movement is the baby of anarchic terrorists like Bill Ayers.

I mean, it's not like you can actually defend being on the side of Bill Ayers, can you?

Ignore, deflect, and down play it all you want. Facts are facts.

What insight. Can you link to the amazing books and authors that give you such knowledge. I hope one day I can know as much about business costs comparisons as you. Thanks for sharing your giant storehouse of international business.

I agree, regardless of the party in power, the wealthy fare better, but be assured, the earnings of employees is about half of the cost of their employment. It seems that progressives are very efficient at removing competitive forces from those at the top. Perhaps, the fixed costs that they impose on adding workforce is one of these barriers to smaller competitors achieving growth to challenge larger market players?

We've seen what ideological dogma has done to Kansas.

On point, actually. The Red State Model, TP Sam Brownback's "experiment" provides us with an excellent example of the airy-fairy notions of his sort of ideological dogma coming up against reality, providing an important lesson for the nation.

Trump may not have the best credentials, he knows it, but he attaches his loyalties to all the correct causes. He only has to remain as a celebrity, while his cabinet will do the rest. Beats Obama who went to play golf and vanished from public view, while his cabinet did the rest..

I think you are overly optimistic. Most of people are slow learners. Kansas is the best example. They overwhelmingly voted for Cruz.

There's nothing to stop him building his own facility in the US or using a US-based manufacturer. That would be putting America first. Right now all you have is feel-good rhetoric.

Ok, so, I tell you there are a ton of government fixed costs associated with adding labor, and you show me a Kansas plan with literally nothing to do with that. Even more apples and oranges is you exhibit a state plan when we are talking mainly federal considering the discussion started with how to encourage companies to return to the us, and your argument was based purely upon take home pay of the Chinese. I beginning to think you can't play cards if you don't know how to stay in suit.

Primaries and caucuses attract ideological extremists.

TP Sam's Red State Model is a warning to any GOP governor who would try to impose his radical, supply-side recipe for disaster on his/her state. Reinforced by the havoc Piyush inflicted on Louisiana with similar nonsense, you won't see the Nikki Haleys pushing the failed dogma.

Pragmatism becomes a powerful influence for actual politicians, whilst footloose candidates are free to spout whatever tickles the true-believers.

Perhaps, you might assist me by clarifying your indictment of America's labor force.

Is it your position that American workers must lower their quality of life by settling for whatever is paid to foreign workers by US corporations exporting jobs?
