Do you think Brexit (sp?) will help?

What do you say?! Do you believe that IS and the taliban really need this refugee-routes to come to the EU? That´s nonsense! In Brussels, not one of the terrorist was a disguised refugees - they lived here for years. And if they want to travel to europe, they get a false Identity and take a plan to europe. That´s no problem for IS and other Terrorists.

Your conclusion represent the view, which they want to bomb in our heads: "Refugees are dangerous, muslims are enemies"

The truth is that France, Belgium and other Nations in the EU had incorporated only a few refugees - and no one of them was involved in the attacks to Paris, Brussels and other attacks. The logic behind your view shows that we had no refugee-problem in europe - we had a problem with a realistic view to so much issues and we have problems with our own democratic values. If they are only present on papers, they don´t have any relevance. Thats the biggest problem - and we don´t got security against bombs with a "Stop Migration" and "No refugees" policy. The opposite will happen...

I'd agree but what's happening in Germany, as you know as a German compatriot, is that for a long time leading German political figures have been claiming - and running - a "refugee-welcome" policy, regardless of what might fear John Doe... A responsible politician won't claim a "Stop migration" policy, but a "rules and regulation migration" policy, i.e. a scheme that applies to canalize the influx of migrants. But unfortunately, those who call for such a scheme are too often described as "xenophobes" or even as Nazi-guys. That's why parties like AfD are mushrooming not only in Germany but in the whole of Europe.

The Brexit issue in my view is linked to far more questions than just the refugees coming to Europe. Have a look at the "Vote Leave" campaign, btw led by a native German lady (Ms Gisela Stuart ): You will learn a great deal about the economic consequences for Britain both within and outside EU.

Yeah, Germany has followed this course, but that´s the only way which is harmonized with the basic human rights.

And that people would described as "xenophobes" because of the claim to regulate the migration is not right. The problem is, in Germany no one is talking about a middle-way. You have the CSU and AfD which claim closed borders, the CDU and SPD represent european solutions for a fair distribution of refugees in Europe, but than Merkel and all of the other european leaders make a dreadful deal with Turkey and kick the human rights out of the european mind. The Left-Party and the Greens a argue for open borders and more refugees in Germany but can´t do anything because of the "Big Coalition" (Furthermore, the Green Kretschmann supports Asylum-deals with hard consequences for refugees and crosses the cours of his party).

So what?! Closed borders, no matter on which level, are the wrong way and are a statement of contempt for mankind. If somebody would discuss about a regulated migration, i will support this course, but at the moment i don´t have any hope that this will happen. In some Cities and councils the accommodations for refugees are empty and in Idomeni so many people are waiting in a terrible camp. It is a question of time till someone will die there. And than?! We are terrified and the politicians do nothing. Merkel made clear, that a second rescue-action is not realistic. So many countries are struggeling against the refugees - so what can we do?! Where is the discussion about a regulated migration?! I can´t see them, so it is really terrible at the moment and i´m ashamed of this. F*** Y** Europe is all, what i can say....

I think you can't speak of a "dreadful deal" because there is no reliable way of tackling illegal immigration but to stop it canalizing the flow of migrants. Who is coming to Europe? Those who are able to spend enormous sums of money on smugglers. They often send their children ahead to seek asylum so that they can travel to Europe later. The poor ones have to go to Turkey, Jordan, Lebanon and other countries next to their home country, as they cannot afford to pay for the smugglers.
You are right. But it is their free will to do so. Greek government opened other refugee camps fitted with fixed accommodation where catering etc. are provided. A lot of refugees don't want to go there because they keep on hoping that borders will be open again soon. The choice is theirs.

It is quite easy to say something like that. However, European politicians are committed both to human rights and to their country's welfare. There are countries that can do more. But it is not possible for Europe to cope with this crisis alone. And unfortunately we have to note that lots of the refugees are from a culture that denies for example the existence of the State of Israel or equal rights for women. These issues must be discussed as well and cannot be brushed under the carpet.

Even boys younger than 16 get older... And how do you get to know whether or not a woman is fundamentalist? As I explained in my post before, the problem is their attitude towards achievements the Western countries have made so far, such as human rights, equal rights for women, secularity and so on. And, highly important, our relationship to Israel, which in my country is part of the "Staatsräson", the raison d'état.

The Brussels and Paris attacks are more the result of both countries doing too little to integrate these people into society rather than refugees.
When it comes to Britain's referendum the motivations are primarily economic which includes inter-Europe immigration primarily from Eastern Europe as well France and Spain.

The best solution for the refugee crisis is to help put an end to the Syrian civil war and to stop immigration from N.Africa and Pakistan.

No, Islamists are the enemy! The other points you make on the subject are too many to address all at once, but if you select out the important ones then I'll offer you my thoughts on them.

They can't be forced to integrate, and the fact is that culturally they don't want to; why should they? If we became migrants we'd arrive to wherever we want to go and quite naturally seek out and settle in a European community. As I keep saying - cultures do not mix.

Of course you cant force people to integrate but you can encourage them to do so and cultures do often mix even in Europe.

How exactly does this address my statement?
That's a bit of an assumption
Again this doesn't address my statement and not only that the lack of specificity in the article means that you don't what kind of things council workers are being asked to be quiet about.
Or another possibility is that it may just be another way of getting a bigger settlement.

You spectacularly miss the point, which is that taxpayers are paying the settlements in the first place rather than the incompetent bureaucrat? If I haven't answered any other questions to your satisfaction it's either because I think they're too flaky, or that you're subtly defending the miscreants for some reason.

This has nothing to do with the topic at hand
I asked one question so that you could clarify as to how people smuggling contests whether Muslims integrate into British society or not.
There was nothing vague about that line of questioning. I find it bizarre that you cant make up your mind as to which reason you chose for ignoring my query
    What an absolutely ridiculous statement.

Please ask your question again then, and I'll answer it. I found your expression 'people smuggling contests' confusing.

Think about that.. Lebanon had huge numbers of refugees in 1948 and 1967... Palestine's population doubled in 15 years with the influx of European refugees.. Europeans don't like it and I get it... neither do Americans, but we approved it for other countries.
