I already have a plan, as I've said. The first step is a job, which will probably be manual labor, and then I will move to China to teach. After that, I want to start a small restaurant-bar. I may or may not finish my senior year first. In my post about the cost of living, to which you responded, I detailed how government regulation in those sectors leads to inflation and cronyism--these are the primary drivers of cost in those industries. Zoning laws, accreditation agencies, and professional unions like the AMA, ABA, and teachers unions are killing the country.

Were you ever smart enough to get a full-ride, academic scholarship to a tier-1 university? I doubt it. Are you smart enough to learn a language like Chinese or Japanese? I doubt it. Are you able to form logical arguments, and effectively express yourself verbally? Absolutely not. Derail, derail, derail. Is that all you do? If what you state is true, then finish your education in the chosen field of academics at the tier-1 university that so graciously provided you with a scholarship. Learning a language such as Japanese or Chinese leads me to believe you might have some sort of Business and/or Engineering direction in play, pursue the dream. You set yourself up for the response you got. And the poster responded with a logical retort based on the way you portrayed yourself in the post. When 60 + percent of the population in America is surviving on the backs of the 40 percent or less, you will get the remark you got 40 percent of the time a comment such as yours is presented. Dude...I didn't formulate a "plan" when things got tough. I got training in a trade and made a life. Your hands get dirty but it works. I've done plenty of manual labor. Tile work, moving company (very hard work), assembly line, warehouse picking, and plenty of other things. I'm not averse to hard work. I never suggested every single zoning law had to go--skyscrapers shouldn't be made out of match-sticks, but they are excessive. You must ignore most of my posts. Race, however, IS important. Also, I don't talk about that stuff in public. I'm very aware of how brainwashed the public is. My "whining" consisted of two threads (both related), and now you guys continue to give me (*)(*)(*)(*) about it as an excuse to avoid arguing with me. True,, I was called a Marxist in these forums the other week. It appears as soon as a difference of opinion is stated one is called a liberal or even a Marxist, without even knowing the political leaning.
Someone else mentioned this, and yeah, naïve college kids have lots of crazy ideas. They learn pretty quickly when the real world hits them.
I think we're all being dishonest if we don't admit to go through a "edgy communist" phase of our teenage years. Mine only lasted a month or so, then I got a job.
