You can't really compare gestational periods of two completely separate species.

And choosing animals for an abortion debate is probably not the greatest idea from a pro-life standpoint.

We routinely kill and eat animals. Those that we don't eat or raise for food production can still be put down at pretty much a moment's notice, with the exception of animals on endangered species protection lists. And at no point, anywhere, does an animal get a say in any of it. They don't become individuals at birth like a human child does.

Plus, dogs lick their own (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s.
