well one thing someone needs to look at, some of the companies are not "his"... they licensed his name, he literally sells naming rights to things all around the world... so when something with his name goes bankrupt or does something questionable, its not him who did it, he simply charged them $10 million or more for the right to use his name... but he never "owned" the company, he just charged them for the right to slap his name on it... but he never ran them... but people don't like facts, they're inconvenient... and this is coming from someone who doesn't like Trump much, but at least I'm honest in my dissemination of information...

She is right though. The fact that Trump is being praised as some business genius is a joke. Almost every company he's ever ran has gone bankrupt because he is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing moron.

The only reason he is still a billionaire is because he (*)(*)(*)(*)s over his business partners and investers, and sticks them with all the debt while he sells off the companies for scrap and walks away taking the money with him.

Trump runs his businesses very similar to how Mitt Romney ran Bain Capital. He takes out a loan to cover his part of the startup costs (never using his own money), and makes his investers sign a contract saying the company, not him, will be responsible for the loan, The Trump name is famous enough that many investors are easily tricked into thinking it's a fair deal. Trump covers 51% of the costs with his loan and then takes 51% ownership so he makes all the decisions. Trump doesnt know (*)(*)(*)(*) about actually running companies so when the companies go bankrupt he simply sells off all the assets and takes his 51% and walks leaving his investers to cover his debt and all the other costs. So he makes money off his failings while costing his investers everything.

1) Crooked Hillary is a terrible candidate. I'm voting for Bernie in my upcoming primary, hopefully the Democrats will come to their senses before they nominate a crooked neocon warmonger as the standard bearer for the DNC.

2) Trump is enjoying a consolidation now that he is the presumptive nominee and that is propelling his numbers, he will probably enjoy another after convention, assuming he has an effective presentation of himself, I suspect the tune-in to RNC to be Super-Bowl level. I'm not clear on why Trump produces such massive audiences, but it is certainly clear that he does. I think the current bump will net against the convention bump to some extent.

3) Like everyone else, the Millennials are not likely to like Hillary very much. She doesn't really like other people and she doesn't hide it well. Going up against a Bernie or a Trump that clearly relishes and is empowered by his connection with the crowd, well, it was this quality that made Rapin' Bill stand out from the crowd in his '92 run and throughout his presidency.

5) Trump is still polling at 44%, that isn't enough. The Democrat nominee will also experience a consolidation once their nominee is settled on, and Trump at 44% isn't going to cut it. He needs to build to at least 50% by election day if he wants to win this thing.

 

By his statements he seems to imply that running a casino successfully is simple. Is that not the impression you received as well?

Uh, you are the OP who started a thread based on an erroneous premise that reveals you have little or no knowledge of the workings of business or especially the bankruptcy laws and their positive uses in business. To people like you, there is no difference between the "broke" Chapter 7 bankruptcy and the "restructuring" Chapter 11 bankruptcy used as a business tool every day. To my knowledge, Trump has never once filed Chapter 7. Then when corrected, you post the above inanity. Ironic. Priceless.
