She's right in that she will lose if she engages him directly, as has happened every time she's tried to hit Trump.

But she's not likable, not seen as above the fray-so it just makes her look weak.

There is a remote risk that Trump will be seen as antagonistic-but he's seen as the underdog, while hillary is the "coronation" candidate.

    Trumps owning the territory.

    - - - Updated - - -

Yup just like her public appearances are tightly restricted and often staged. She's trying to minimize any risk, but thats even failing her with dems.

Polls suggest they will, but that would be the extreme, I think more will stay home and not vote frankly.

Trump wasn't even in politics a year ago. He's the outsider, he's the underdog.

I doubt passionate Bernie supporters would quite frankly, sell their soul to the devil. Support policies no real American would support, drift off from realism into a fantasy the real world doesn't support. Bernie Supporters see the enemy for what it is, Trump Supporters simply want revenge. Grow up, and smell the roses of realism.

Exactly. And just like any other boorish demagogue out there. His ignorance and crass BLUSTER will eventually be revealed for what it truly is. And even though that may not cause him to lose in 2016... it WILL (likely) in various ways affect the GOP as a party.

He's having good/bad effect... across the board. That is certain.

From their perspective it will be about punishing the dems more than the direction of the country.

The forum has many that have said as much. And if Bernie becomes her VP pick he would be seen as a sellout.

Oh, flawed, schawed! What a stupid word.

Here's a clue: She's corrupt. To the bone. And not very smart, either. Just plain stupid, in fact. She's way beyond the overused "flawed".

Hillary has been in politics all her pathetic, hideous life. She has done many things to hurt Americans. Trump, on the other hand, has been a private citizen. He has done nothing to hurt Americans.

    I hope you realize that
Neither Bernie Sanders or most of his supporters were ever democrats

Don't be so sure about that. Clinton's strategy seems wise. She didn't say she'd be quiet. She's going to talk policy. That puts the ball in Trump's corner.

Some voters thrive off of negativity, but most want to hear policy.

Policy on Iraq? Libya? Russia? The policy her foundation had of taking money from foreign donors? Nafta? Her willing lies to the public over decades?

Many don't know about this yet-Trump will make it news. The rest explain her high unpopularity.

Trump will shred her on that. This is an outsiders election and Hillary is the exact opposite of that.

While this may or may not come true, it's not what I was getting at. I'm saying that Clinton's strategy of ignoring the mud-slinging while presenting policy ideas is wise. She's not going to play into Trump's hand, as these foolish protesters have. I can't stand Clinton, but I'll respect her if she runs a clean campaign. As to Trump, I have no idea what to expect. More of the same, I suppose. It's earned him some fervent support, but his unpopularity is higher than Clinton's, so I wouldn't use that angle.

You said she wanted to talk policy-she will simply be dismembered when she does. Too much ammo to use against her.

Hillarys policies have divided her own party.

Nothing Canks does allows me to trust her. Too many lies for that.

You seem to forget the Hope and Change Obama promised, while leaving out any details. Unicorns and rainbows was all we heard.

SSM marriage anyone? Not in 08...whoops.
