We have some here so very sensitive to anything that might out truth that topics get censored for the flimsiest of reasons.

Take, for example, the Grahams, Billy and Franklin. Graham, of course, is a Jewish last name. What are Billy and Franklin obsessed with?

    A: ISRAEL

    Anything else?

    A: Not really

Is it truly beyond any rational or polite discourse here to ask

ARE THE GRAHAMS REALLY JEWS WHO LIE TO MANIPULATE CHRISTIANS TO FIGHT WARS TO HELP JUDAISM???

There, I asked as politely as possible, given the truth here...

I can't even go to church anymore because every one I attend I end up disagreeing with the pastors interpretation of something. When I politely try to debate them they always get seriously offended and I usually get blacklisted.

Instead I like to hold bible studies where we can all enough discuss our views. I have no patience for people so set in their ways.

    No need to shout.

I doubt it. As I understand, they just follow a form of Christianity that is closer to its geographical roots in the Middle East and therefore has a closer relationship with the religious Jewish aspects of the modern state of Israel.

I don’t really see the point in the accusation to be honest. It’s not as if there aren’t plenty of negative you could pick up on without spinning up wild conspiracy theories. Or you could just do what most normal people do and ignore them.

will I accuse grahams specifically no, however is that the way agendas are achieved in the big leagues? EMPHATICALLY YES

Its all bull(*)(*)(*)(*) and when you get close to outing the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) they cover it up, declare it a national security matter, or off limits taboo PC topic.

Hey its always worked and it will always work because there are far more suckers and lower iq types in the world than there are ivy league'rs and once the ivy league'rs see how much money they make from the low iq's well you know the rest.

I dont recall his mentioning a crime, so why are you purporting he concocted some wild theory about a crime that he never implied?

It appears you are the one concocting a conspiracy theory

I didn’t mention a crime either. An accusation doesn’t need to be of an explicitly criminal act. He suggested they could be lying about their faith and trying to manipulate Christians in to wars which was the accusation I responded to.

Graham is not a Jewish name..

    Last name: Graham

Although now widely associated with Scotland and Ireland, this distinguished surname is of Anglo-Saxon origins. It was a locational name originally from the town of Grantham in Lincolnshire, and as such recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as both Graham and Grandham. The translation is either the homestead (ham) on the gravel from the Olde English pre 7th century grand, meaning gravel, or perhaps the personal name "Granta" and hence Granta's homestead. Locational surnames usually developed when former inhabitants of a place moved to another area, and were best identified by the name of their birthplace. The surname Graham was taken to Scotland at the beginning of the 12th Century by the Norman baron William de Graham (see below), holder of the manor in Lincolnshire, from whom many if not all modern bearers are probably descended.

James Graham, first marquis and fifth Earl of Montrose (1612 - 1650), fought on behalf of Charles 1st and became lieutenant- general to Charles 11 in 1648. This most notable surname has no less that forty-five entries in the "Dictionary of National Biography", and over forty coats of arms granted to families of the name.

The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of William de Graham, which was dated 1127, in the Foundation Charter of Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh, during the reign of King David 1st of Scotland, 1124 - 1153.

Consider yourself lucky that you are not living in the middle ages or in Putin's Russia or you will have been burned at The Stake or flash frozen in a gulag near your favorite vacation spot.

    Irrelevant.

We all die and I doubt of very few of the methods are painless. Whether it's getting hit by a bus, cancer, or burning at the stake, our goal as Christians awaits us after death.

Strange way to title a thread if your real obsession is the Grahams. I thought you were asking about our own preachers.

As previous poster questioned...is this thread really more about the Grahams? I was going to mention that I left a previous Church because the Pastor was a liar. He may have believed in our Lord but because he did not abide by his own "hypocrital" preachings my wife and I could not continue attending the Church. We did end up going to a church where we vetted the Pastor and feel very comfortable with.
....on a side note is there any lib on PF who actually believes in God? ...it would be nice to see once in awhile.

Most bizarre. You are aware that the name is traditionally Scots, right?

Why on earth would you jump to the conclusion it's Jewish, given the man is white and part of a western, anglo-celtic derived population?

Reminds of the thing about the name Miller. It's patently Old English, and means what it says (someone who mills grain), yet mysteriously, it's considered by some to be Jewish. How that works I have no idea.

They aren't Jews, but Churches get funded by organizations like AIPAC, political, and commercial organizations to pump some form of propaganda or another. Church tends to be like fish- a blank palette on which you can throw a bunch of artful seasonings...

But, still, don't be too quick to summarize this whole thing as "manipulations to help Judaism". Israel could be the manipulator...maybe it's US interests...or maybe some other party. Here, all we know for sure is that the Church, definitely, is influenced by outside parties.

They pretend not to be Jews, but they are. So were Col Osman (bin Laden), Simon Elliot (al Baghdadi) and Gadaffi.

Jews manipulate Christianity and Islam to accomplish the goals of Judaism.

If any Christian here believes Israel cares about Christianity, perhaps this will help..

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/05/28/bible.burning/index.html?iref=topnews

" Police in Israel are investigating the burning of hundreds of New Testaments in a city near Tel Aviv, an incident that has alarmed advocates of religious freedom.Investigators plan to review photographs and footage showing "a fairly large" number of New Testaments being torched this month in the city of Or-Yehuda, a police spokesman, Micky Rosenfeld, said Wednesday.
News accounts in Israel have quoted Uzi Aharon, the deputy mayor of Or-Yehuda, as saying he organized students who burned several hundred copies of the New Testament. "

And then he got re-elected in a landslide...

Well...there are those Jews that do hide that they are Jewish, but there are others who hide their national origins as well to smooth their transition into new environments. Yes, this can be innocent, practical, and/or nefarious depending on who you are talking about, but my main point is that while there certainly are Jewish goons, criminals, and such in pretty high places, they aren't the only ones. And while it is a trend among some to believe Israeli Zionism is at the center of all world plots, it might be overplaying the role of Israeli criminal activity.

Ask yourself. What, definitively, factually, makes you believe that Jews are the center of major world conspiracies? What proof? Certainly, there are Jewish criminals, but every place in the world has such. While they certainly play a large role in Middle Eastern affairs, you still can't quite label them as master or puppet. And even so, they might not even be consequential. Zionism is an ideology- as easily adapted by foreigners as Jesus- a Semetic prophet- was for most of Europe.

Well, these are just cautions. There are certainly conspiracies and there's definitely snakey things going on in high places...as always...but make the difference between what you know for certain and what you are simply being told from another source.

It's an interesting question. I'm not conspiracy minded, but I have to acknowledge that even here, in a country with only a tiny Jewish population (there are more who are not aware of their Jewish ancestry, but that's a unique thing, and not applicable here), they have a disproportionately high ownership of business and money in general. They have about vastly more 'power' than the average citizen, if power is defined as money and business interests. They have no significant issues with racism or religious antipathy here, because they're ethnically and religiously invisible. They look and behave like everyone else. The average citizen in this country would have no idea who is Jewish and who isn't, not even when names are really obvious. It just doesn't occur to us that anyone would be. I only know because I have personal connections and long experience with the ethnicity of Jews. I can spot them by appearance and subtle differences in accent.

Anyway, my point is that their life here is as per anyone else's, yet they do seem to embrace advantages in ways few others do. This can be applauded, or condemned, depending on your perspective. I'm neutral, personally, but I can see some might see it as vaguely sinister.

It pretty much is a summation of one cause, the "re-conquest" of the "Promised Land," something few understand properly. First of all, in Ch1 v4 of Book of Joshua, there is God telling Joshua that the NE border of "Israel" is the Euphrates River, which, as everyone with an IQ over 5 knows, is in IRAQ.

What you find going over the history of US-Iraq relations is that the desire for warmongering with Iraq comes exclusively from the Zionist demographic, from the ADL's award to Tenet

    http://archive.adl.org/presrele/mise_00/4643_00.html#.V1LeplQrLcs

to the CIA's report on the '67 war, which not only cites Israel as the initial aggressor, but claims LBJ was "thrilled" when Israel attacked and then LBJ got on national TV and lied his treasonous rear off about whether Israel was the aggressor. Motive for offing JFK?

The Marines in Lebanon in 1982 were murdered. Reagan ruled out Hezbo. Who still pushes Hezbo and a few other names from "24" show? ISRAEL. Israel murdered our Marines.

Israel is obsessed with re-conquering the "Promised Land."

Sen Feinstein's entire political career is all about instigating war with Iraq.

I have the right to notice those things...

"This is very good for Israel" Netanyahu's first comment on 911...

The US would also have very important interests in that area as well. Both economic and strategic. Israel has been described as a "land-carrier" or forward outpost for western interests. Israel will definitely have great activity in the area and it will certainly work towards its own interests where it can, but is Israel the master or the slave and how can you prove it?

The scribe who wrote that story around the 7th century BCE was an excellent author, but no Historian. Come on. You're simply applying modern events to mythical stories.
Two and a half million Hebrews exiting Egypt?, surviving in a wilderness small tribes have problems doing?, conquering the non-existent Amalekites?, destruction of an Egyptian army by the sea - in a reed marsh?, two and a half million people marching into a land not capable of supporting that many people at that time?, conquering some cities that were already destroyed?.
According to the scribe it was 'David' who extended the borders to the Euphrates. Wishful thinking. 'David' did not have the manpower to conquer and maintain the city states of the times. He only had a small regular army. The rest were soldiers from each tribe that served for a month in turn, but could be called on in an emergency. Rather like the old 'minutemen' of the US.

Hebrew history probably starts with a tribal 'king' who subdued the tribes around him. Simply relating modern events to Tanakh scripture is nonsense.
