http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/10/politics/mitch-mcconnell-donald-trump-issues/index.html Mitch McConnel says Trump doesn't know much about the issue important to the Presidency. he says Trump needs to pick a VP who will fill that gap in knowledge. McConnel says this during Bloomberg interview
And this is a Trump SUPPORTER. Gotta love the logic. "It's okay if the President is completely ignorant. As long as he picks a VP who knows what he's doing." Uh, in that case ... shouldn't we just elect the VP as president?
So today you're a Republican agreeing with McConnel! What are you going to be tomorrow? - - - Updated - - - So you're a Republican too! Funny how much some members jump back and forth.
Its only obvious to those people who do understand the issues. To most of his supporters, he's the answer to all their problems.
No one knows the issue that president faces but the president himself. Only a foolish leader does everything themselves and think that they know it all. A wise person knows when and when not to take advice from people who know better that him. Your point is?
No matter what he says, Mitch McConnell is not a Trump supporter. McConnell is a RINO "progressive"-lite who sees a possible power shift away from himself and is trying to weasel his way in so he can sabotage it. Just like McConnell campaigns as if he is a conservative and then the second the election is over he obeys the "progressives".
Uh, how do you reach that conclusion from what I wrote? I'm simply marveling at the sight of a Trump supporter pointing out that Trump doesn't have a clue -- and the "logic" of "that's okay as long as he has a VP who knows what their doing."
Do any of the candidates for potus really understand the global issues? How cringe worthy was it when Obama went to hug Castro. Could Bush find Iraq on a map,? I doubt it. Is hilary studying and devising trade deals, or will she do what shes told. I don't know who makes the long term US policy, but it clearly isn't the president not any more. Potus is a mouthpiece for a very select few financial institutions.
I don't know what Ronstar's point is, but you sure described my problem with Trump succinctly. By your definition, Trump is as far away from wisdom in a leader as anyone can get. He does think he knows it all, so he hasn't a clue when to take or not take advice from people who might know more. I don't think he accepts the premise that such people exist. His instincts are all he needs to run this country.
McConnell is an establishment party hack and nothing more. He may as well be a Democrat as he, like John Boehner, exists only to grow government. Come on Kentucky, kick this piece of (*)(*)(*)(*) out and vote in someone worth a (*)(*)(*)(*).
When Trump's company was going into bankruptcy, do you know how he came out even stronger and richer than before? He knew that he was too big to fail. He used this fact to renegotiate his deals and he came out settling his debt, coming out richer than he was before. Why cant he do the same with this country. We buy most of China's goods. I'm sure we can renegotiate. That goes for everyone. The United states I think is the largest consumer of goods in the world. http://www.internationalbusinessguide.org/25-largest-consumers-markets-outlook-2015/ We can use this fact to renegotiate trade deals and impose taxes on US companies that produce overseas and or other companies. Meanwhile he can encourage reopening production plants that has been closed, providing many more jobs. We can continue to open more production plants. This is where the Mexicans will come in. We will open more and more production plants and our job market will not be able to keep up. We can let Mexicans come in on workers Visa to work at these plants as well as unskilled American workers. Overall, our goods will become more competitive and we will get more money. As well as become less dependent on Chinese goods. Anyway, Trump didn't come out of his bankruptcy by himself. He had many people advising him. Him coming out of his bankruptcy the way he did, becoming many more times more richer is a testament to the fact that he has that wisdom.
