    Too bad you didn't bother to read that piece because then you would have seen all the FACTS listed in it backed up by links to those facts.

    You surprise me. You seem to level headed on everything except this issue.

    It should be noted that although there is a slight increase in cops being killed since 2014...2014 was a record low year for that occurrence.

    BLM finally infiltrated memphis recently, shutting down the Memphis bridge and going about their stupidity.

    After a local politician held a rally of his own in response to the morons of BLM and challenging the city to stop shooting for 30 days. Basically saying to BLM that if black lives really matter, prove it by ending the true epidemic of black on black crime.

    Btw the politician is black as well. But I fear his words will fall on deaf ears, as the very people who are involved in BLM do not really care about black lives, they only care about the ones they can exploit politically so they can feel justified to cause more problems within their community.

    If black lives really mattered the group itself would be going nuts about the constant deaths of blacks by black criminals. But again, they can't exploit that situation so they typically ignore it.

    I understand and agree with the premise behind BLM. I do not have to agree with their tactics and no one should have a problem with criticizing them anymore than we should our police departments.

    "Black Lives Matter"... No they don't. Only certain Black lives matter. The thousands of Blacks that are murdered by other Blacks, don't matter at all. Nobody is whining about their lives. It's only the much more rare cases when a Black person is killed by a non-Black person, that seem to matter. :roll: So Blacks are very selective and prejudice about which particular Black lives matter.

    Why don't you get one of those applications the Dallas Chief of Police mentioned? They're hiring, he said. Then you can go in these largely black neighborhoods and show us all how to properly arrest a 300 lb aggressive black man who reportedly has a gun, without getting yourself killed ....
    THEN you can pass judgement.

    Black Lives Matter, is about the perception that cops think black blood is cheap, and routinely harrasses innocent black people.

    All this protesting, but no arguments as to why black lives actually matter. Sorry, but it's not an agreed upon premise.

    So why do black lives matter?

    thus we see the extent of the "BLM" movement. There is no logic behind it. Just an appeal to emotion, which can be safely ignored.

    I think I've asked why black lives matter at least three or maybe ten times in this thread so far. Never once has that argument been attempted.
