Acidity in atmosphere minimized to preindustrial levels

    What? How can this be? We have countries like China pouring all sorts of carbon emissions into the atmosphere. He have volcanoes spewing ash all over the place. How can this possibly be?


    According to the University of Copenhagen, New research shows that human pollution of the atmosphere with acid is now almost back to the level that it was before the pollution started with industrialization in the 1930s. The results come from studies of the Greenland ice sheet.

    Your wide eyed incredulousness is kind of funny particularly when you read your own link. How is it possible that the acid level in the atmosphere has gone down? Try pollution filters.

    The more significant problem of ocean acidity continues to rise as far as I know.
