Two qualities that have long been advocated within the Republican party are sound economics, and fiscal responsibility. Donald Trump represents neither of these qualities. His 10 year spending plan would in fact increase the national debt by over 11 TRILLION more than Hillary's, and among economics (a group Republicans normally get great support from) he is polling an unprecedented 3rd place

Donald Trump is unsure of himself on foreign affairs, he's for more intervention and for less intervention. He supports intervention in Iraq and Libya before he's against both wars

He doesn't have a clue, he suggests the TPP would give China an unfair advantage, when they're not even a part of the TPP
    http://theweek.com/speedreads/58818...donald-trump-over-china-tpp-during-gop-debate

He says China is devaluing their currency, when in actuality, in recent years their currency value has made bigger increases than the US dollar

    http://fortune.com/2016/03/29/chinas-currency-stronger-as-u-s-dollar-falls/

He says that China is using the US as a piggy bank to rebuild their country, when in actuality we are the ones borrowing money from them

He doesn't know what he is talking about in regards to ISIS, one minute he suggests that Hillary Clinton is the founder of ISIS, the next he suggests that Hillary has been fighting ISIS her entire adult life. He seems completely unaware that the founder of ISIS is Abu al-Zarqawi (killed in an air strike n 2006), yet he expects people to take him seriously when he says he knows more about ISIS than the generals. There's a reason why 50 GOP national security officials have come out against Donald Trump. Just as people who are well versed in economics do not trust Trump, people who are well versed in foreign affairs do not trust him

When it comes to his campaign, his biggest enemies are the fact checkers. Not a specific source, any fact checking source is an enemy to his campaign, any source that dedicates itself to fact checking is considered to have a bias against Donald Trump, there are no fact checking sources to show Donald Trump is truthful, and his ideas are so quixotic that he doesn't even support them. Whether it's his idea of deporting all 11 million undocumented immigrants (which would cost as much as the bank bailouts), his ban on Muslim travel to the US, or his notion of taking Iraq's oil. When he can't explain his ideas he simply abandons them for somewhat similar ideas.

In the end I don't even think his supporters know which policies he still supports

Who needs facts when you've got ideas and opinions?

Agree completely, especially "hasn't got a clue" which explains everything else nicely. The man knows how to manipulate people, and that's about it. He sure has manipulated millions of unwary voters into supporting him.

Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan is actually code for "There's a Sucker Born Every Minute".

He has plenty of opinions, but I wouldn't say Trump has ideas. Lots of emotion, very little thought.

He's going to find out very soon that the biggest sucker is himself, whether he wins or loses.

I disagree. He's going to profit from all the free publicity that the MSM was greedy enough to give him and let's not forget the new reality show, TV movie and book deal...all of which I will thankfully not have to partake of. The suckers were his supporters that have made the film "Idiocracy" a prophecy come to pass.

I have looked at this and it does not take in to account benefits from the growth that would come with Trump’s plan. Considering that it is a false claim to say it increase the debt.

As far as Hillary's plan it will increase taxes on everyone which will hurt the economy big time. It is easy to produce the results of these stats when you ignore certain key facts. Hillary will increase taxes on everyone. She will have to because the 1% ers do not have enough money among them to pay for her plan so the middle class will have to pay.

Revenue growth would be something to consider with a sound economic plan, as GDP growth translates to an increase in revenue, but as is Trump is polling 3rd among economists.. which is unprecedented, usually the Republican candidates poll very well among economists, but people who are well versed in economists do not see Trump as being good for GDP growth at all

You have a point. But if his goal is to win, and he loses, he will be a sucker. If he wins, he's going to find out that our government is not autocratic. Again, a sucker.

You do make a good point, though. His supporters are already suckers. Most of them, anyway.

Can you show where they ignored projected growth in their calculations.

    Actually, I disagree.

Donald Trump is going to declare victory no matter what the outcome in November is.

He'll declare victory, claiming that the "movement" he created nearly took the White House and will drive the national debate.

He will claim that he is self financed, and brag openly about the resources the establisment had to devote to stopping him.

He will claim that his was the righteous cause, and play martyr for his angry white man audience (and leverage an online, or perhaps cable Trump network out of it, run by Roger Ailes and financed by Robert and Rebekah Mercer.

And he'll make a big show of opening his new hotel on Pennsylvania Ave.

    One thing he won't do.

He will never contribute in any way to moving this country forward or ever serving his country in any way.
