Funny how the rich conservatives have fooled so many to think that corporations are the same as themselves. They are two separate entities, two different sets of books, two different tax responsibilities. A CEO gets paid from the corporation, just like the janitor.

    Not quite.

There's that "47%" that doesn't pay any taxes at all.

Trump is the Corporation in this case. It is his. We aren't talking about the elected CEO of Yahoo.

The Trump Organization (formerly Elizabeth Trump & Son) is an American privately owned international conglomerate based in Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It serves as the principal holding company for Donald Trump's business ventures and investments. It is owned and managed by Donald Trump, serving as chairman and CEO, and his three eldest children Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump, serving as executive vice presidents.[5]

Why? His corporation's income was $560 million last year and he paid more than $100 million in federal and other taxes. You won't earn in your lifetime 10% of what he paid in taxes just last year.... lest we forget tens of thousand of Americans whose paycheck he signs every week.

They make all the income too...

Let me ask you this... If you pay 10% as your effective federal income tax rate. And I said to you, I will give you a million dollars more in income every year, but you will need to pay 5% of that in Federal income taxes, would you say no, I don't want the raise because I will pay more in taxes?

Since Regan took office and supply side economics were sold to the gullible people of this land, the tax rates of the rich have fallen, True or false... True.

Since Reagan took office, the wealthy share of the taxes paid has increased significantly, true or false.. also true.

So how can their tax rates fall, while their share of the taxes increased? ........ Because the fact is that their share of the income has increased even more than their share of the taxes..

They have had the exact same deal I proposed above, have received a large amount more of the income, and paid lower tax rates on it.... And you are on here whining how unfair that is.... That is just foolish.

You want people other than the top 1% to pay more taxes... then you need to have other than the top 1% earn more of the money again.

And the point of this thread is that Trump is pay ZERO to the schools, roads, defense, food stamps and anything else supported with federal income taxes. So your argument that other rich people pay taxes does nothing to excuse Trump not paying any.

It does not look like the bankruptcy court has a problem with him. It does not look like the IRS has a problem with him. It's just you I am afraid LOL and he has 270 profitable businesses registered to his name and paying hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes every year. And you are paying 0.00001% of his taxes, if at all :D

Such brainwashing.. First, the red states receive the most food stamps and other welfare, not the blue states.. In fact, the blue states subsidize the red ones... so your facts are just plain wrong.

Second, the richest congressional districts, those with the highest incomes and pay the most taxes are democratic districts... Must be all those democrat deadbeats...

You have been told so many propaganda lies, and you just regurgitate them, without ever thinking.. What are you going to claim next, tax cuts increase tax revenue.. another total lie, shown empirically to be wrong over and over again, but the gullible fools keep believing it.

Now keep whining about deadbeat democrats, as you argue it is fine for billionaires to pay no income taxes.

All I'm saying is Donald Trump and his Corporation pay more taxes than Hillary and she is attacking him over it. It's not a legitimate argument. I think taxes should be lower for everyone especially the rich and corporations or they will flee in droves and we need them more than they need us. I think the government needs to be smaller and spend less.

I don't know what argument you're talking about. Clinton's argument is that he hasn't released his tax returns so we don't know if he's paying taxes.

His corporations are not him... Two totally different things, so you can't mix them together and claim the corporate taxes cover his personal income. It is a very legitimate argument to say that a billionaire who pays zero in federal income taxes is a slimball.

Your whole, they will flee is a joke. It is like the saying, we are taxing the rich until there will be the rich no more.... sounds great, until you realize the rich are getting richer and richer, not poorer, so the statement has no basis in reality whatsoever.

The share of all the national income of the top 1% has gone from 9% of all income in 1976 to over 20% in 2011. You really are going to argue that this will make them move out of the country? What next, are you are going to whine they are paying a larger share of the taxes then they did in 1976 too.

Trump's corporation pays millions in taxes. Hillary claims he pays no taxes. Hillary is full of it.

I am not jealous of rich people. They earned it whether it was given to them or whether they worked for it or not. Most of it is theirs, not the governments. Any legal tax avoidance strategy is smart, like Trump said. You're a fool to pay more than you owe. The rich are getting richer because they are smarter than you and the government too.

He HAS been accused of crimes, but has always settled out of court, usually with funds taken from his own charity. Has Hillary ever been FORMALLY accused (other than by biased conservatives)?

I choose to ignore your insults, as I am not familiar with the customs and perspectives of your country.

Totally unrelated to the previous post and my response to it, typical liberal mud throwing and seeing what will stick.... And investigation means zilch, it's not a crime or conviction... That said, Hillary has being referred to the FBI to be investigated for perjury.

Crimes? Really? civil courts don't prosecute criminal cases, they prosecute disputes. Crimes don't settle out of court, they are plea-bargained.... Duh Libs, sad ignorant creatures.

Hillary has the war in Iraq, ISIS, Libya, Syria on her conscience, let alone her support for trade agreements that cost the US trillions of dollars and a million high paying middle class American jobs. And that she wasn't prosecuted due to government corruption is no excuse, Putin, Kim JongUN, Castro, the Mullahs have not been prosecuted either.

Are you ok, borat? You're rambling. I'm not a liberal, and I stated a fact. Not mudslinging. You said the IRS had no problem with Trump. You're wrong. His foundation is being investigated for illegal activity. That's a problem.

Yes, Hillary Clinton is being investigated as well. What was that you were saying about irrelevant mudslinging? The topic is Trump, not Clinton.

    Really ?

Ones personal income tax records are private.

Now an incorporated business is a different story.

I noticed something about Trump, he incorporates every thing even his plane Trump Force One is incorporated.

Trump does have a bachelor of science in economics.

Thanks for agreeing with me. Clinton says we don't know because he won't release his tax returns. That's exactly what I said, and exactly what the NY Times says.

Nowhere does the article mention corporate taxes. She's talking about personal income taxes.
