MOST people are not racists anymore. I don't know what generation you were brought up in, but that is BY FAR not the biggest problem that we face as a nation.

Yes, they are. And the irrational and über racist support of useless laws like this one in Wisconsin is testament to that.

In california, they do not look at things like social security numbers. Besides that is one of your hated IDS.

I am afraid in this state, illegals can vote. I believe we have tens of thousands of them voting.

No way to prevent it. They can show up illegally, bring in drugs illegal, carry weapons so a perjury or two means nothing to them.

I see no problem with properly identifying a gun owner. Though, I do take issue with calling voter fraud nonexistent. The truth is nobody in government is scrutinizing the voting process. Look at what media outlets turn up when they do a rudimentary check. How bout a nonpartisan panel of the government do a deep sweep of the voter files. My guess is it would be all over for the say no to ID crowd if that happened.

There is a reason I specifically chose the words I did:

I didn't say/imply such a crime has never been committed; only pointed to the reality that the crime of voter impersonation fraud is exceedingly rare. Statistics over time, bear out that truth.

It was/is a valid question. One posed at several of our local council meetings. The dems on the council stammered because they knew it was true. Efforts to make sure everyone/anyone could get a valid ID were met with the argument that they had no means to make it to the town hall to apply. Yet these same people were given transportation to the polls by the dems in the community.

This is the real universe. You are welcome to join anytime. And for the record, I happen to agree that Walker should be impeached for his lack of action.

Dude, your question is as stupid as if the clerk at the DMV is asking why blacks can't get a ride to get an ID, as the bus is unloading black registered voters at the DMV, so they could get photo IDs made.

Your question is incoherent. You are derailing the thread with nonsense.

Now I know you are trying to support election fraud - in typical fashion when faced with opposition you immediately jump to squealing "Racist!" in an attempt to shut down people.

Reliable photo ID should be required for every vote. No exceptions. You and your cohorts are not complaining about showing ID for beer or any other activity which requires ID - because photo ID is not a burden. Your complaint is a scam you hide behind in order to manipulate the election process.

Is the mania to overturn every means of insuring the sanctity of elections limited to Wisconsin? No, not at all. People like you are trying to eviscerate the election process in every state because you are afraid you will lose in a fair election.

Are you against showing an ID to register to vote?

Ok credit card fraud never happens. Where have you been. What is happening is people are continuing to register someone who has passed away. Many ederly people have ids that do not expire.

There's no arguing little evidence has been found. Instead we need to focus on why little evidence has been found. I think that answer lies in the fact no one is looking. Not that it doesn't exist.

Right. Remind me how racist it is when Hilary has her rallies and you have to show ID.

I never said I belong to a superior race.

Really? Do you have any idea how many posts you've written that contain grammatical errors? I don't bother criticizing people for grammar errors because they aren't important in the context of these discussions. Do you want a cookie?

By the way, no one on here is fooled by your pseudo-intellectual bull(*)(*)(*)(*). You've lost nearly every argument you've been in, including every argument you've had with me.

you clearly did not read ALL of my message and attempted to capitalize on the first thing you could dare challenge or question me on... I was merely showing, and gave a DIRECT LINK to the requirements in my area to obtain a birth certificate, to demonstrate just how easy it actually is to get ANY of the required documentation... in my case I already had the necessary ID so I did not have to use the other documents that also would have easily qualified to obtain it... are you purposely being ignorant and stupid when I made this remark, or are you actually that stupid and can not comprehend simple english, let me know which one it is so I know to use smaller words or just dismiss you...

I clearly linked to and stated the options to obtain a birth certificate were documents that require NO previous identification... meaning, your health insurance card from obamacare qualifies as ID, any utility bill from electric/gas/phone can be used, a signed lease where you live could also be used as identification... as well as numerous other ways could you present them with documents they will accept to identify you to obtain the birth certificate, which as I pointed out, took only a couple minutes to fill out the form to request one, and then watch the lady go into a back room and come out with the birth certificate I needed... its literally a couple minutes and almost any paperwork...

if you're attempting to tell me, that even getting a birth certificate, with ALL these insanely easy to obtain documents is too high a burden, in order to get an actual photo ID from the state, why on earth are we using photo ID's then... because if you want the burden of ease to be lower than what I have stated and directly linked to in order to prove how easy it is, then I just don't know why we bother having a driving license or photo ID of any sort, because anyone could fake the documents required to get a birth certificate, and if they know the information of the birth certificate they want, they can easily make or obtain documents in the names needed to get it... its that easy...

what part of this are you struggling with... how easy it is... how easy it is... or how easy it is... there is NOTHING difficult about this process which took me a couple minutes...

P.S. I never claimed people are doing this in order to commit fraud and cheat the voting system, I'm merely demonstrating how EASY it is for those who claim its a severe burden or impossible to obtain a birth certificate... its literally one of the LEAST secure documents we have in society, which can be obtained with faked documents with very little information about a person... but certainly anyone who is legitimately attempting to get a photo ID, and must first obtain a birth certificate, quite easy can do this...

I don't really see this as being a huge problem for most people. I think most people who vote already have an ID of some kind.

I tend to lean towards the idea that the reason why it bothers liberals/democrats to have to show an ID so much is because they WANT illegal immigrants to vote for the democrat party.

That is what I think, and you won't change my mind, so don't even try it! :evileye:
