Now we can understand why the lies and demonizing of Assad, and also the support given to the terrorists... who as we know will someday be attacking our own cities. Now that Aleppo is finally being freed and the terrorists are surrounded with no means of escape... other than surrender, the Washington war mongers are having a freak out.

They're trying to figure out how they can attack Assad's government covertly and circumvent international law. There can't be any public acknowledgement of the crime, and the American people must be totally deceived, otherwise the march towards a war with Russia cannot be successful.

What is laughable, is that they're presenting their attack of the Syrian government and the support they are giving to the terrorists as being counterproductive to their own counter terrorism efforts. You figure that one out. :wall:

“One proposed way to get around the White House’s objection to striking the Assad regime without a UN Security Council resolution would be to carry out the strikes covertly and without public acknowledgment,” one administration official who is to take part in the discussions told the Washington Post.

“The CIA and the Joint Staff have said that the fall of Aleppo would undermine America’s counterterrorism goals in Syria,” he added.

Notice how they characterize liberating Aleppo from the terrorists as the 'fall of Aleppo'.

That right there tells you all you need to know.

Trump's VP is being deceived, he has no more knowledge of what is going on than the rest of the American people.

Does it really matter? The end result will be war ...either with China or Russia unless there is a major natural disaster in the US as has been prophesied. . Either way we're doomed.

Notice how they always refer to the legal government of Syria as a regime...and the terrorists as rebels?

You might be right, because as I said the US will suffer a major disaster and it's forces will be called in from all over the world. It might not be just a natural disaster, but also an economic one and maybe a terrorist attack and/or civil war.

The war with Nato will start with the Turkish attack on Greece ...and Erdogan said a few days ago that they will not recognize the Lausanne Treaty and are laying claim on 16 Greek islands. When he moves to take over Cyprus ...then Russia will give them an ultimatum and that will be the end of Turkey.

It's a ticklish situation because Israel and Egypt are pushing Greece to announce the boundaries of its territorial waters, that way they can move ahead with developing their oil and gas reserves. If Greece does, it will be a 'cassus belli' for Turkey, and they will commit some false flag attack, and attack Greece.

There might be other wars breaking out as well in other parts of the world. Anyway things do not look good. Here's a map that shows how serious the situation is. The light blue are the Greek territorial waters, and together with Cyprus they control the whole Eastern Mediterranean... and Turkey doesn't like it.

Propaganda 101. They are so transparent with their propaganda because they know many americans are just not that bright. For they have been devouring the propaganda for years, and obviously they do not know what they are being conditioned with.

In regards to war, wars always break out, big ones, in hard economic times. And we are in hard times, and if not for safety nets, it would be much more obvious. Cooking the numbers to try to make people think that everything is just fine, can only work for awhile.

I heard a general today basically saying we will whip Russia's arse, and with Russia involved in exercises that look like a preparation for protecting their population, and with the insanity coming out of DC, and with a war monger Hillary probably being the next president, these are very dangerous times that we live in.

Here is the bad news. We won ww2 because we had the ability to out produce war machines and goods, to win that war, and we sure as hell do not have that today. We allowed our industry to go offshore, to enrich our elites more, when it took away our ability to produce war materials.. And supply lines from china to here are easily disrupted. We are no longer a nation that can out produce our enemies, especially if china goes in with Russia.

Even if we could win a conventional war against Russia, what do you think they would do before we put them under our thumb? Hell, they would not allow us to rule over them, and then its lights out for humanity.

War mongers are insane, and should be put into prison.

The prophecies are interesting. You have to discern which ones are from saints though and not some warlock, and also which ones haven't been embellished by some fundamentalist monk who decided to put in his own two cents. This is why the saints are really not supposed to be telling people what they know. .

What is going on now in Greece has been prophesied by the saints... and what is to come as well. There are loads of videos on Youtube, the only problem is they're all in Greek.

To get back on the topic. This is from Moon of Alabama:

There is currently a barrage of propaganda in the "western" media in support of "rebels" in east-Aleppo. It is all about "hospitals" and "children" but the aim is to stop a Syrian army assault on the "rebel" held quarters of the city. U.S. officials are again talking about "intervention", meaning open war, to prevent the Syrian army and its allies from storming the "rebel" held eastern parts.

The UN Special Envoy for Syria DeMistura told the UN Security Council:

We have seen information from other sources that tell us more than half of the fighters present in eastern Aleppo are al-Nusra (al Queda). We have also seen reports alleging the intentional placement of firing positions close to social infrastructure, inside and aside civilian quarters.

So why does the U.S. want to stop the Syrian government forces in their attempt to free the parts of the city which are undoubtedly held by al-Qaeda?

Moon cannot understand why the US who voted "Yes" on several UN Security Council demands to fight al-Qaeda, does not want it defeated. Also Syria is following the UNSC demand to surround the Al Queda held parts of East Aleppo. They are also allowing civilians to escape from the area.

What the Syrian army wants to do is protect West Aleppo where 1.5 million civilians live under the protection of the government... and where many have died from strikes from Al Queda.

Even Moon is confused. What will Washington gain by having Al Queda control part of Aleppo? Seems like the US is speaking with forked tongue... but why? Is it to please Saudi Arabia ...Turkey...Qatar? Or is it to prolong the war so as to kill off as many Arabs as they can.

    Propaganda

"None of this would be possible without one of the most concerted media propaganda offensives since the Iraq invasion. At the forefront of this offensive is the Murdoch printed press which is pushing hard for war, with the rest of the pack not far behind. According to the Pew Research Journalism Project, “the No. 1 message” on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News and Al Jazeera, is that “the U.S. should get involved in the conflict in Syria". But involvement requires a semblance of public consent and this is often achieved as the result of a singularly defining propaganda image or event.

In terms of the first Gulf conflict, for example, the event in question was the infamous nurse Nayirah affair. In relation to the 2003 Iraq invasion, it was the WMD debacle. Arguably, in the case of Syria, it would appear it will either be last months deadly attack on the aid convoy in northern Syria, or possibly the image of Omran Daqneesh that will be the deciding factor on getting the public 'onside'. Irrespective of which of the two - if either - it will prove to be, the propaganda thus far has been all-pervasive, even down to the media's use of the term 'barrel bombs' when describing Assad's alleged use of airborne weaponry.

The latest propaganda offensive is the mainstream media's uncritical reports of the role played in Syria by Channel 4 News and BBC Newsnights favourite openly anti-Assad spokesman for the far from independent 'humanitarian' group, White Helmets, Ishmael Alabdullah. The October 4 edition of Channel 4 News which focused a large segment of its programme to events in Syria - and included an interview with Alabdullah- was among the most biased and distorted pieces of reportage I have ever witnessed, amounting to blatant UK-US government propaganda.

Reporter Krishnan Guru-Murthy, for example, described a rebel (terrorist) 'victory' in east Aleppo as "rebels fighting back against the forces of President Assad". Murthy reported the battle from the narrow perspective of the terrorists and it was clear from his general tone to whom he intended the viewers sympathies to be aligned with. The impression given was that it was the "heroic" rebels who were retaliating against a ruthless and barbaric "regime" (the official enemy) - a narrative that's an inversion of reality familiar to anybody who has observed reportage from other conflict zones where Western imperialism is the core motive. The Channel 4 News bulletin was full of such distorted reporting.

The many subtle, and no so subtle, examples of media propaganda described, as well as the numerous illustrations of censorship by omission, highlight the systematic corruption at the heart of the elite media and political establishment, and their consolidated attempts at securing yet another middle east resource grab."

What they won't write, and which has been accepted by the UN is that the same terrorists we support have been committing genocide on the Christian population in Syria. There is no difference between ISIS and Al Nusra... they chop heads off with the same barbarity.

Well a Saint said the war will start in Syria and then go to the Aegean, and today Turkey gave a 'notam' that any plane entering a Greek area does so at their risk. They have now decided that sixteen Greek islands are part of Turkey.

If that's not a war call then what is? All that's needed now is for the Turkish MIT to do is what it does best, and that is commit a false flag attack and put the blame on Greece.

Back to the subject. Here's something that should be of interest. It give you an idea of just how much concern the US has for the people of Syria:

On Thursday, Lavrov also slammed the US proposal for Russian troops to be the only ones giving escort to Aleppo humanitarian convoys along the Castello road. Instead Russia proposed a joint mission on the ground.

“They [US] said: ‘No, it's too risky.’ That was our humanitarian exchange of views on how to resolve situation in Aleppo,” Lavrov said.

"The West (has) become a dangerous and destructive force in the world." (Bitter Lake), and my current signature "The West will be destroyed by greed and stupidity." just about sums it all up. Personally? I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm battening down the hatches.

I watched in disbelief as some talking head on last night's tv news invited all the disparate jihadist groups who are presently hiding behind women and children in Aleppo to follow him from the war zone under a kind of 'flag of truce' - which will of course facilitate the psychos in reaching a safe haven, thence to regroup, re-arm, then resume their activities. :wall: FFS who are these fools who presume to be world leaders!!
