Goodness gracious. Someone needs to help Trump out and put a stop to this. It hurts just watching the beating...

Trump has attacked most of Clinton's major soft spots. Clinton is repeating her talking points - many of them discredited by WikiLeaks.

Clinton is embracing the status quo about as well as a professional politician can. Trump is tapping into the popular mood - that is what populists do.

Look at her facial expression every time wikileaks or emails are brought up. That flash of anger is priceless.

How do you figure? Making the argument that underestimating your enemy leads to defeat isn't a comparison between Trump and ISIS.

Trump did pretty good and had a great closing. Had he been as composed in the end of the first debate as he was here, he could probably have had this election in the bag already. We'll see in a few weeks I guess.

Hillary was well composed, but she was not memorable. Some of her vague non-answers made her pretty forgettable.

Trump's strongest performance. The lack of lefty moderators teaming up against him is why.

I'd give it to trump but only marginally, because he left a few easy opportunities untouched.

Polling already has him tied or in the lead.

After this, I think it will go up further.

All the while, wiki leaks is becoming more and more known.

I'd say more than marginally-but in any case the fact that a first time politician just beat the coronated establishment candidate means he's strong.

There is still a lot of mud slinging to come in the next 3 weeks.

As an aside, I keep hearing from the pundits about voting already being open in so many areas. Does anyone actually believe that those early voters were every really up for grabs? It seems to me that an undecided or swayable voter would hold out as long as possible before casting their ballot.

The pundits are making some pretty extreme stretches when they try to bash Trump. It comes off as far too desperate and they have to concede that both candidates performed decently. The question they should be asking is did these candidates win over some fence-sitters.

I think so too. The Abortion segment was particularly painful. It's clear that Chris walked Trump into that comment, and like always, Trump doubled down on it.
But that's not even the worse part(and where he blew it.) Trump basically(In a nonchalant way) stated that the pro-life justices he'd put in, would overturn Roe V Wade.

Until now, Roe V Wade hadn't been an election issue since 2000. Making it a campaign issue, is going to be a Hillary Meme right until Election day. He handed Hillary the presidency right there. He got Hillary on some other issues, but it doesn't matter. The biggest demographics are women and minorities, and he still hasn't been able to make a decent case for either one.

It's over. But I didn't like Hillary's answers either. This one was precious. 'We're not going to have ground troops, but we're going to be on the ground'. Good LORD what have we done to ourselves.

Now we need polls......real polls and not snap polls...and what was it with the Clinton 'smile'...looked bizarre.

Trump remained quite composed through most of the proceedings and landed a few good shots. Hillary was her usual calm composed self and was well prepared to dance around any sore subjects and pivot back to her strengths. Chris Wallace did a great job as usual and kept things under control. If Trump can quit swinging at pitches in the dirt and drive home his issues in a calm reasonable manner for the duration of the campaign he might have a punchers chance....
