I've been saying this for the better part of 20 years. Likening the Islamist extremists to the VC in Vietnam. The VC fought for essentially an extra measure of rice a day. The Islamist however, fights for immeasurable pleasures in the afterlife.

All things considered, in the immortal words of Animal Mutha:

As the US Attorney General the FBI should report to her about any findings.
    according to her.

If they wanted to learn more about the substance of the investigation, Ms. Lynch told Republicans, they should look to the F.B.I. director’s statement, which concluded that Mrs. Clinton was “extremely careless” in her handling of classified material but did not “intend” to break the law.
    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/13/us/politics/loretta-lynch-testify-hillary-clinton-email.html?_r=0

So she only based her decisions upon the FBI's statements.
and now it's reopened again because of "maybe's".

No, that is her reason why the case was not pursued before the primaries,
and she does have a good reason and with a verifiable support as well.
Hacking is so rampant nowadays even making that site wikileaks very famous nowadays.

That's just fodder for the lemmings. The real reason is Lynch is in bed with the Clintons whom promised her a continued career for her suppression. But I digress, as I was talking about the relaunch investigation. It sounds like NYPD has the dirt on Clintons through Weiner's emails, including child trafficking. Still voting for her?

I will see the progression of this scenario,
perhaps I would change my mind, but for now sorry to say this, I don't really like Trump.
BUT, if it is a necessity to vote for him then I will.

Let's just hope Hillary never sends out any naked selfies. Boy, that would cause some phones to explode!

She dropped 10 points in just one week. Momentum is on Trump's side......sorry.

That is a curious way of putting it. "If it is a necessity?" You sound very unsure of yourself. Actually, there is a necessity to not vote for Trump. He clearly has no experience in politics. What that means is that the people actually running the government are not people the voters chose. The people running the government will be mysterious others. Would you feel that a necessity?

In addition, many Americans have had their fill of newbies for President. Bush made horrible mistakes that cost thousands of lives and ran up the bill in our National Debt. Obama, too, has made serious mistakes, including the ACA. Hillary would be the most experienced President since George H.W. Bush. With all our serious problems, we need someone experienced at the helm.

    That is a necessity.

That does not mean my statement is incorrect. That said, even Fox said today the most reliable poll in terms of picking the next President is the ABC/Washington Post poll. The momentum seems to be swinging back to Hillary. The ABC poll had Trump ahead by one point two days ago. Today Hillary is ahead by three points.

The Real Clear average has Hillary up by 2.4 points. That figure does not have a plus or minus factor because it is an average of all polls. Hillary is up by 2.4, period. Tossing out the L.A. Times poll which has a weird tracking system, there is not one poll in the Real Clear polls that has Trump ahead.

And that is the National Average. The more important polls are the individual states. That is where Hillary has a real advantage. Allow me to repeat, Trump can win all the states leaning Republican, all the toss-up states, and he will still lose the election. A lot of attention is being given to Florida and N. Carolina. Hillary doesn't need either to win the election.

It is not conjecture that Trump is being aided by Comey's actions. Your compatriots keep cheering on Trump's rising poll numbers and momentum since last Friday. Try to keep up.

That said the momentum is changing. Hillary as of today now leads in every major poll except the L.A. Times poll which has a weird tracking system and has been an outlier since the election campaign began. The momentum is switching back to Hillary because, after a week of no information from the FBI, the voters realize they know as much as they knew before Comey's letter to Congress.

Hillary's real advantage, though, is in the Electoral College map, and I have discussed that as well.

I have shown that Comey is a Republican. With his letter last Friday, disclosure of a closed 16-year old case involving Bill Clinton on Tuesday, and major leaks from the FBI concerning the Clinton Foundation, all this within eleven days before the election, people are beginning to realize Comey is trying to influence the election. Voters are disturbed about that and the pendulum is swinging back to Hillary.

Hillary IS the shadow government you rail against. What a world. :roflol:

I know what you are saying. I'm no Trump fan either. This is one election I could just as well sit out. Still, I have to get the message across that despite Trump's many, many short falls, his fail in comparison to a career criminal who could now very well be a child trafficker. It's sickening to think such a vile, evil person could be in charge of a country in just a few short months.

As a voter I still have few days to weigh up who's the candidate, not closest to my heart but I could be sure of will unite the country (for we are a federal state), pro-people, keep the USA away from harm, and of course promote economics, you can call me an idealist but that's my preference. I will jump into conclusion, I will let them do the mud slinging and see the facts and from there I could base my decision, that's the only way for I certainly don't know in depth how deep is the rabbit hole and I don't have time to go down there so busy raising up my family and kids. With that green thing, we have a lot of think tanks within our folds, checks and balance, oval meetings, etc., I'm sure every decision made was always deliberated by a lot of brilliant minds, and what a President should do is by clear conscience, truthfully and faithfully organize these assets for the betterment of the country and that's not a hard thing to do mostly if firm dedication is there.

    Precisely,
but the problem now is that we could only choose two would be potential leaders, potential in such a sense that they have the backings of two powerful political machineries a crucial pre-requisite for effective leadership. We really need a leader and move forward we have to vote and let the system work and let democracy prevail protecting the voting citizenry.

Gary or Jill would both be better options. It's too bad the major parties control the process. It shouldn't be this way in a country that touts freedom as politicians are in control of their own fate in elections. This is the antithesis of a fair system.

Yup, I agree, but somehow they always support through that term called "popularity voting", actually act to preserve the political party having the seats. Gary or Jill still lacks that charisma in coveting the taste of the voting public. The election system also is quite representative of the bulk of the electorate considering the tendencies of the electoral college.

Thanks for your detailed response, I do have to admit it was one of the better ones I have gotten, I wish all discourse was on this level.

I heard, and I like to think most did, that he was targeting a subgroup of a group of certain Mexicans. That certain group are the ones that have illegally entered our country.

I have tremendous respect for your military and athletic background. And I agree that many times we have to tolerate jerks. (And I do not condone it) But in the course of having fun, things can drift "over the line". Wow if there were a microphone, many of these jerks actually went on to lead very good and respectable lives. We all make mistakes. And to compare with Hillary, remember she said there is a private image and a separate public image. Really, think about what you truly know about her, can't you imagine her having fun and being crude at some point? I don't think there is a difference here.

The blame Bush tendencies no longer fly with me however he had the proper deployments and programs in place to fill the power vacuums that may have remained. Obama/Hillary did not sustain these policies, instead opting to foment the "Arab Spring" which further destabilized the region.

I think the expert opinions sound way out of whack and all I know is our economic growth is at an alltime low since the 1940's. We in the middle class mid-west feel it all too well. Continuation of the current policies will get us nowhere.

Wikileaks has emphatically said their sources were not the Russians. I think the "blame Russia" approach is going to prove dangerous at some point and have some very negative repercussions in the long term.

Trump has not earned a single penny from his foundation and charitable programs whatsoever. There is no need to investigate. Its still an active investigation with the Clintons and it will be a shame if a sitting president will have to be indicted or impeached for something we all knew before electing her.

You seem pretty locked in. I know I probably do for Trump as well. I was actually for Cruz. And I am pretty disgusted with the state of the Republican party right now, although there are very good candidates running for Congress. I have wavered between being a moderate and the hard lean to the right. I do know I love this country and the constitution. I pray for its preservation and good standing in the world. I honestly think, and can only pray that you objectively give it the excellent thought process you possess, that Hilary can only erode the tenets of our country's foundation. That is why at this point, I feel that only Trump can save America.

The point is, the country is not ready for a viable third party. Perhaps sometime in the future, but not now. Voting for Johnson or Stein is just wasting a vote and strongly indicates the person was unable to make a decision. A protest vote? What a joke. A protest requires someone listening.

You are avoiding reality. Allow me to repeat, "And that is the National Average. The more important polls are the individual states. That is where Hillary has a real advantage. That's the problem with Trump fans. They can't cope with reality.

Thank you for the compliment. I really do appreciate it. Allow me to comment on a few items.

"The blame Bush tendencies no longer fly with me however he had the proper deployments and programs in place to fill the power vacuums that may have remained." By 2008, Bush realized that he had lost the war, and there were no programs in place to stabilize the region. The only thing his 2007 surge accomplished was more loss of life. It is for that reason that Bush essentially surrendered by signing a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) with Iraq in late 2008, calling for the withdrawal of all American troops by the end of 2011. BTW, when Republicans blame Obama for losing Iraq, they conveniently forget Bush's SOFA, that is, his virtual surrender to reality.

"Wikileaks has emphatically said their sources were not the Russians. I think the "blame Russia" approach is going to prove dangerous at some point and have some very negative repercussions in the long term." Yes, that is true. Assange appeared on a Russian controlled propaganda network (RT) and proclaimed that Russia was not responsible for the hacks. That is the same network Trump appeared on when he criticized the American Commander-in-Chief.

"Trump has not earned a single penny from his foundation and charitable programs whatsoever." Donald Trump spent more than a quarter-million dollars from his charitable foundation to settle lawsuits that involved the billionaire’s for-profit businesses, according to interviews and a review of legal documents. Those cases, which together used $258,000 from Trump’s charity, were among four newly documented expenditures in which Trump may have violated laws against “self-dealing” — which prohibit nonprofit leaders from using charity money to benefit themselves or their businesses.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...c88f9c-7d11-11e6-ac8e-cf8e0dd91dc7_story.html

There are no such charges against the Clinton Foundation, only allegations of quid pro quo. The Clinton Foundation has one of the highest ratings of any charity. CNN reports, "Trump hasn't made personal contributions to his foundation since 2008."

The major problem I have with Trump is his glaring inexperience in Washington. The immediate consequence of that is that it will be other people actually running the country. There will be one super advisor -- possibly his chief of staff, possibly an untitled person -- who will be the decision-maker. In any case, it will not be anybody the voters selected.
