He's not going to prosecute anyone. The AG would.

He should appoint a decent AG and let them do their job. Lynch was the only real issue before anyway. She has the final prosecutorial say so.

The beautiful thing about his 100 day action plan is that he has dates. By day 2 we're supposed to renegotiate NAFTA? That's going to be interesting to watch.

Drain the swamp of crooks. Not all insiders are crooks. Trump will need some insiders to help navigate Washington's political process. 4,000 employees will need to be filled by Trump. How many of these folks will be insiders is anyones guess at this early stage of Trump's term.

    Start renegotiating NAFTA.

My point was that if he doesn't, we'll know.

I hope for the good of the nation Obama gives Hillary a blank pardon. Not because I like her or think she is not guilty of many things, but because the left has shown that it simply does not matter how unethical their party is. No matter how guilty she is most everyone on the left we have a collective hissy fit. In the end think it would do nothing to move this country forward. Even if found guilt so what what will they really do to her, she most definitely will not go to jail, fine her a million dollars, so what she will shake down brain dead supporters for the money. Sometimes you just have to take comfort in knowing that you are on the right side of the battle even with out a win. We know that if things where reversed most Republicans, not all, would dump anyone in the party that did something like that, the Democrats just simple have a very strong conviction for anyone in their party and will cicle the wagons around them no matter how distasteful they are. Sometimes the high road is a bitter pill to swallow.

    1. Clinton will not be prosecuted

    2. Trump can break whatever campaign promises he'd like and his supporters will make excuses for him like there's no tomorrow. Take that to the bank.

    I completely disagree with this.

Going after Hillary is the worst thing he could possibly do. It will just create more resentment and deadlock within the government, not to mention the backlash from Dems who might be sitting on dirt.

Obama will pardon her and another couple thousand of his criminals (State Dept, IRS, etc,) to keep the bodies hidden.

This will also give Trump a 'gracious' out of the predicament.....

Well, besides draining the swamp, President Elect Trump will be expected to govern, and for that he will need to to rely on some Washington insiders. It may be unfortunate, but it's just the way it is...

Wouldn't it be nice for people to let the man take the oath of office before pronouncing his presidency a failure? Let's just see in 120 days what's been accomplished and what hasn't...

I agree. Unfortunately, I also agree that President Obama will be issuing her a blanket pardon before leaving office, thus putting an end to the whole subject.

It would be nice for trump supporters to realize they elected a president instead of an emperor. He has limits on what he can do. Separation of powers is an actual thing. I didn't pronounce his presidency a failure, yet.

Well, when somebody says that I'm deluding myself if I think Trump is going to be able to follow through on many of the promises he made during the campaign, I take that to mean that they think his presidency will be a failure.

And as to your other point, yes, now the system can actually work the way it was intended to work, with people in Congress putting forth legislation, and the President signing that legislation into law if it's well crafted and in line with the direction he wants to take the country. What a bold and innovative idea! You want to teach someone about the separation of powers? Perhaps you should start with Mr. Executive Order Obama...

No politics. If Hillery committed crimes that can be proven in court then she should be in prison, period. No politics.

I don't blame you for thinking that, but I don't think he's like that. He promised to prosecute her, and he will.

If not, then... okay. He will have thrown everybody who supported him under the bus. I don't think he's that kind of man.

She is probably guilty but it's no use to further divide the country. It's time for understanding and reconciliation.

That said, Clinton would be wise to crawl back into her shell.

Neither the new Trump administration nor the American people need the distraction and continued divisiveness of investigation/prosecution; I think the President-Elect can figure that out on his own. At least I hope so.

(Conviction types faster than I - seems we agree.)

No, he won't get off that easily. She is either prosecuted, or he loses a lot of support.

I just got a copy of a portion of Obama's exiting speech:

......"I would like to recognize the valiant efforts of my previous Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and reward those efforts by a full pardon from any missteps that she may be charged with in the future by her critics, as well as the loyal department of the IRS and also the State Dept who fulfilled their jobs in an admirable manner despite all the partisan attacks against them"......blah, blah, blah
