People are telling me they're part of the old guard Democrats that just got Trump elected president. We can't just dump the two though can we? We might need them to help rebuild the party for the midterms.

If you feel your party is in a better position today than when Nancy and Harry first arrived in Washington (back in the days of yore), then you should keep them.
Up here in Canada, when a politician isn't improving the state of the party they belong to, they soon find themselves set aside for fresh blood. And politics is a blood sport.

They all suck. Just like all hardcore DNC faithful do. They keep the party from being mainstream---and I like it! Keep Polosi and Reid, and put Barak in as head of the DNC---kinda like dictator for life in North Korea.

I see Harry Reid as being a bitter, mean-spirited old man with no heart. I see Nancy Pelosi as a complete, decerebrate dunce. If you want to keep 'em, keep 'em. But if I were a Democrat, I'd dump 'em.

Nice thought having Obama head the DNC but with his planet sized ego I'm pretty sure the only job he would accept is UN General Secretary. Think of him being in charge of the whole damn world!

    I pretty much agree.

I thought Harry was retiring? not so?

IMO those two clowns are one of the primary reason's i'm not supportive of the DEM party, so from a GOP standpoint, I think all republicans would prefer if they stayed on front and center.

From a DEM standpoint, they both should go bye bye and stay low profile. Your decision Dem's.

One thing for sure we won't have seen the last of him after Trump is inaugurated. The guy doesn't have an off he switch he's going to have to keep making news. I'm sure the late night comedy shows are going to be full of him and Michelle.

Depends. Do you want to win elections in the future? If so, you should dump Reid and Pelosi as soon as possible...

Yes, they've done such a fantastic job of "rebuilding the Democratic party" thru the last 3 election cycles. :roflol:

It's not that simple. Reid and Pelosi are not new to the game they have their own spheres of influence. Bottom up revolutions often fail miserably.

Harry Reid is retiring Pelosi is getting on in age and soon even the face lifts will not help distinguish her from a cadaver so your question is moot.

some need to do a bit of research or at least read something other than the comics and huff and puff post

pelosi's district would re elect her corpse if they can figure a way to animate it. Who knows perhaps they have already. However her fellow dems are not real happy right now

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) bowed to rank-and-file unrest Tuesday and agreed to delay party leadership elections until Nov. 30, giving time to a group of dissidents pushing for either a change in those at the top or a different course in the Democratic agenda.

poor old thing had deluded herself into thinking she would be the speaker again

Good news I hear the Republicans in the US House and Senate are eagerly accepting converts from Obama's party of weakness and division. At least one senator I know of has expressed interest in switching sides.

I'll believe he's gone when he shows up on MSNBC as a political pundit. BTW did they ever find out who gave him those two black eyes?

Reid retires in January. Pelosi needs to go along with Mitch McConnell on the Republican side.

I think they should, when you become the minority part is not the time to put in someone new that does know all the rules

I agree. Reid is a bitter, nasty old man who hates traditional America. He's made a fortune on a senator's salary (go figure). He's retiring, thank God.

Pelosi is an absolute dunce. She couldn't screw in a light bulb without assistance. I hope they keep her because I love her deer-in-the-headlights look we get at her press conferences.

Ah haha! You've noticed that too! She always reminds me of a 3rd grader when she talks.

When she was Speaker of the House, she was third in line to the Presidency ...

Reid and Pelosi are perfect Poster Critters for the corrupt DP establishment. Every time they speak they damage the credibility of the political class they represent. I will miss them.

Nancy looks like an old grandma just like Hillary does now. I love Grandma's but they really shouldn't be acting like they are able to lead countries, or major political parties. It's old and haggard looking just watching them move around. And Harry Is senile
