Vehicles - the new Muslim weapon of choice?

The (Very) Islamic State recently announced that Muslims should kill us Infidels by using vehicles. In July a Muslim injured or killed around 500 people using a vehicle in Nice, France. Just now in Columbus, Ohio, a Muslim used, you guessed it, a vehicle to mow down a bunch of non-believers for Allah. Question: are vehicles - we'll never be able to stop Muslims from getting vehicles (unless they are put in camps) - the new Muslim weapon of choice in killing infidels in this endless war that we are in?

Me, it would appear so - take away jetliners, they use guns (San Bernardino, etc.), take away guns they use vehicles. We are in for a long war that we seem to be passing on to our grandchildren's generation. If they can use vehicles, then there's almost nowhere for you to hide.

Well the left will never support banning Muslims from having driver's licenses. They would never be able to get around New York if there were no cabbies.

I think you're right - I've had the same thought myself. There have recently been a suspicious number of incidents where vehicles have gone out of control including heavily-loaded lorries, refuse trucks, trains, a tram, and cars. In fact there isn't an easier method of spontaneously causing carnage.

The solution is simple, ban Muslims for owning and driving motor vehicles.

Right. How many times do you have to "joke" about violating religious freedom and the rights of others before we are supposed to start taking you at face value?

 

I'll summarize the debate, here (it was kind of like a superhero comic book):
One side courageously championed science, reason, and critical thinking!! (Yea, our hero, FreedomSeeker!!)
The other side tried to foil the hero by constantly running interference for Jihad, for religious magic, and for the hatreds in religion - the master of deflection!! (Boo, boo, Deflector!!)

I envision a Marvel Comic five-movie deal: "FreedomSeeker vs. Deflector: Dawn of Justice", and "The Return of Deflector" (after he loses the first round), etc.

 

Can we agree that Qur'an 9:5 and Q9:29 violate religious freedom more than I ever have.....ever? Or do I call to kill all Muslims (Q9:5, basically), and call to force Muslims to pay a discriminatory religious tax ("jizya" - Q9:29, basically) and for Muslims to "feel subdued"?

If a person thought that orcs (Middle Earth) were actually real, he would be delusional. By the very same token, with the very same level of evidence (i.e. no court-room level of evidence in 2000 years and counting), if a person thought that magic invisible humans with wings flying around ("angels") were actually real, he would be delusional as well. Delusional is not defined by how many people believe it, necessarily.

Psychologists can disagree with me all day if they want (unlike religions, Modern Secular Humanists don't have dogma - we think for ourselves, so I don't have to tow the line with psychologists), and I'll still believe that the belief in orcs and angels are EXACTLY the same - delusiona!. One story puts the fear of "hell" in people's hearts, and holds out the carrot of "heaven" - that's the only reason one story is believed more than the other one. Can we agree that people that believe in orcs and/or "angels" are delusional, Deflector?
